A very interesting and multi-cultural town with a diverse range of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops, a very large country town that also hosts a wonderful flower show mid-September. Also an amazing new airport just out of town called Wellcamp indicates this is an elevated - go ahead - rural town with some lovely real estate features, great schools and landmark views over the Lockyer Valley. In fact the other "table land towns" Dalby, Warwick, Stanthorpe and many. many more provide a great insight into rural Australia. Honestly it is a beautiful part of the world, so many amazing sites and places to explore. During our trip it was very busy so I would definitely recommend booking for dinner ahead of time as it was too full for us to get in anywhere however the Thai restaurant made a plan for our group and they were phenomenal.
