- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 205 reviews**Review of Treetops Montville** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Treetops Montville, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of the surroundings, making it a true nature lover's paradise. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday decorations that we had requested. It was such a delightful surprise to walk into our accommodation and find it beautifully adorned. It truly made the occasion feel special and memorable. The fridge was stocked with an impressive array of breakfast goodies and wine bottles—far more than I had ever encountered in any other holiday stay. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right at our fingertips, making our mornings leisurely and enjoyable. The location itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The soothing sounds of the nearby creek added a serene ambiance that made our stay even more relaxing. If you appreciate the beauty of nature, Treetops Montville is a must-visit destination. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature, offering a perfect blend of privacy and tranquility. It was the ideal spot to unwind and soak up the stunning surroundings. I am already planning my next holiday with Treetops Montville, as this experience has left me eager to return. If you're looking for a getaway that combines luxury, nature, and exceptional service, look no further than Treetops Montville. Highly recommended!Guest review bySonikaAustralia
- From US$164.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 701 reviewsWe are over from the Uk visiting our son and family who live on the Sunshine Coast. We wanted to have a short break away and chose The Clouds because we loved the idea of being in the rain forest. We stayed in one of the deluxe cottages which are separate from the main hotel and you really feel in the rain forest! The cottage was very comfortable and clean with a lovely comfy large bed. The bath in the room was great too and so lovely to look out on the lush canopy listening to the sounds of the forest. The air conditioning worked well but we also loved sitting out on the verandah too!( don’t forget to bring insect repellent if you want to sit out in the evening) The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make a basic supper/ breakfast ! The staff, including Susie, Bree and the cleaners were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.Guest review bySerenaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsThe organisation was meticulous, from the welcome message, to the entry/check-in instructions, to the breakfasts provided by the local cafe - I preferred to take a walk through the orchard to get mine but you can have yours delivered to your room if you like. The villa was immaculate with wonderful facilities, fabulous views of the bushland, comfortable sofas & beds, a lovely fireplace, & very, very private, despite the floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides. The setting in a Mango Orchard, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Glass House Mountains makes this a must stay experience if you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!Guest review bySteveUnited Arab Emirates
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsOur stay at Narrows Escape was pure perfection! The service was beyond exceptional—we were treated to complimentary champagne, chocolates, roses, cheese, and freshly baked croissants every morning. They even offered personal drives into town and on excursions, making our stay effortless, luxurious and well worth it. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the hospitality was truly five-star. Montville is also a really cute little town with good restaurants and services, would come back!Guest review byMattFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 148 reviewsEverything was amazing! The location is great and close to Maleny and Montville for little trips as well as finding waterfalls. The cottage was spectacular and the views from the daybed were magical, especially when I fractured my ankle on a walk and had to spend the next day relaxing out on the balcony. Daily breakfast delivered to the room was delicious and the service and care from Emily was beyond expectations.Guest review byDenikaAustralia

Beautiful views, friendly and helpful people especially cafe/restaurant/shop assistants. Easy to get around. Good for retail therapy. Was a trip down memory lane for me hence just driving around to Baroon Dam, Maleny - for a bit of retail therapy too, and surrounding areas was great. Did not make it to Kondalillia Falls unfortunately this time.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place.
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place. We loved the trail from the property into town, loved to walk around the little boutique shops and also great that all amenities can be bought there. The pharmacy isn't open on Sunday's so take note. We recommend booking restaurants ahead of time.Guest review byKelly FenningAustralia - 8.0

Nambour is an old established town but it provides easy and quick access to the Sunshine Coast( around 20 mins to the Sunshine Coast airport) where accommodation could be considerably more expensive. My stay in the Nambour Heights Motel was directly opposite the Nambour Hospital and relatively close to other places in the area. It was 11 minutes from the Buderim Ginger Factory and very close to the Big Pineapple. Also close to the Bli Bli water ski park which appeared to be a huge complex.Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 10.0

The main attraction in Beerwah is Australia Zoo but we actually skipped the zoo this time and opted out for a quieter and more peaceful trip. There are so many beautiful landscapes and walks to enjoy in the area and it's only a short drive to Maleny or Montville as well. If you are seeking a relaxing experience, I'd definitely recommend visiting those two little towns. We enjoyed the Thai Restaurant in Maleny and strolls through the streets of Montville followed by a hearty lunch at The Edge Restaurant. We also visited the Botanic Gardens & Bird Sanctuary in Maleny which was AMAZING!Guest review byLisaGermany - 10.0
My favourite Italian restaurant was open.
My favourite Italian restaurant was open. So a hot pizza on a cold night made all the difference to our stay. The local store has a great variety of foods for snacks or dinner and then it's nice just to walk around and explore the town.Guest review byGrahamAustralia - 10.0
What a beautiful area.
What a beautiful area. Coming froM SA were we are in drought it was great rto see everything so green and lush. Many little quaint towns to visit. With many eateries and gorgeous shops We dined at the glass house mountain Tavern food was delicious and reasonably priced.Guest review byChristineAustralia - 10.0
Hiking in the area is always fantastic.
Hiking in the area is always fantastic. The shops are quaint and quirky if that's your thing (not really mine) but for me it's the region's nature that keeps me coming back. To that end, there are pretty limited mid-range accommodation options that aren't in the townships. Some areas have more of that sort of thing nestled right among the mountains and forests, whereas in this area that kind of accommodation is harder to find and more expensive - though if you're willing to head down the range to the Eudlo area (it's only a 20 minute drive) you can do well staying there and taking day trips up the mountains.Guest review byRobAustralia - 8.0
We based ourselves at Brightside Landsborough.
We based ourselves at Brightside Landsborough. Breakfast in Landsborough - The Steaming Cup and 22 Cribb St French Patisserie - different but great breakfast at both - good service. We dined at the Landsborough Pub, The Terrace Seafood Maleny, Warrior Restaurant & Bar - All had at least one standout dish. Landsborough Pub - Lamb Shank & Pork Ribs; The Terrace Seafood - Fresh Oysters and The Terrace Surf & Turf - OMG - steak so tender and locally sourced; Warrior - Qld Tiger Prawn Bites - Citrus infused prawn meat, on a prawn cracker, native pepper berry aioli, salmon roe - bliss in a mouthful or two. Staff at The Terrace Seafood and Warrior were outstanding. We visited Maleny Botanical Gardens & Bird World - a definite must, definitely do the bird tour and hire a buggy for an hour to check out the gardens. Landsborough Museum - free entry and a step back in time - worth a visit! The Ginger Factory at Yandina - if you love ginger a definite must do - tour is informative and train ride is fun - plenty of ginger products to purchase. Plenty of places to visit within an hour's drive at most if you base yourself in Landsborough, we'll be back.Guest review byDalysAustralia - 10.0
Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms.
Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms. The property is dated but it meats the style of an old Queenslander. If it was modernised would spoil character.Great wrap round verandah which is gated and can be closed off for young children to safely play. Plenty of utensils and crockery etc in the kitchen, some older adding to the character Will be back to explore this property walking opportunities, dam, ,cattle and horse furtherGuest review byLorraineAustralia - 8.0

Montville is a lovely little locale with some great dining spots, art studios and natural elements to enjoy. We liked our brunch at Priscilla's Gallery and had yummy scones at Poet's Cafe. We also had some nice dinners in the Bar and Grill - good wines there too. We also enjoyed listening to the live music from the beer garden. Kondalilla and Gardner's Falls are worth the visit while you're here.Guest review byLeeaAustralia
