The CBD lacks a vibe and people, I went across the river and the views and atmosphere was alot nicer with more activity. RAC Arena is a fantastic place with awesome staff. The bell tower is a must seeGuest review byNicolaNew Zealand - 10
Higham, was higher than our expectations.
Higham, was higher than our expectations. It was beautifully decorated. From the kitchen, to the bedrooms, to the bathrooms to the laundry, it had everything that you needed. The position, is very central, so you can walk everywhere. We had a car, Land Cruiser, and there was a loading zone around the corner that you could unload your stuff. Once inside, there was a remote control to access a private secure parking, just down the road. The building was built in the 1800's so it is 2 levels, however the main, bedroom and living area is on the top floor level. So if stairs are in issue, just be aware of this, however the stairs are very sturdy.Guest review byYoung - 8.0
The tourist attractions we wanted to see were spot on.
The tourist attractions we wanted to see were spot on. The town and area where we stayed was clean and tidy. A lovely place. The Anzac Memorial site was fantastic, my grandfather was killed at Gallipoli and the information and effort that has gone into this is such a great memorial to all. The Gap and Natural bridge is a nice spot to visit. Middleton beach, the whaling station, the Amity were all nice to visit.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10
Margaret River is a very beauitfull place to visit.
Margaret River is a very beauitfull place to visit. We went on a wine tour with "'All About Margaret River Wine Tour'', and it was well worth the money we paid. We got to see the lovely area and the very friendly people of Margaret River. We also did th Lake Cave and that was wonderful. I would love to come again and see more of the area.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Only spent morning in Busselton to see pier. That was quite good. Small supermarket close resort absolute thieves, I would suggest getting in your car and driving to a big shop. Overall everyone we dealt with in the Busselton area were really nice.Guest review byDavinAustralia - 8.0

I was served by some very helpful retail assistants/business owners. Traffic and parking was very manageable It was delightful to just sit in the car and watch the mood of the ocean and just breath beautiful fresh salt air. I was convalescing so I ate in several cafes but mainly bought prepared meals from the supermarkets which had a huge, healthy variety. Children had gone back to school, so getting about was very easy. I travelled up to Northampton (3 pubs, 2 cafes on the main street) and down to the mouth of the Greenough River. Both great little trips to fill in half a day.Guest review byJoyceAustralia - 10

We loved the convenience of the facilities within walking distance of the Mandurah accommodation. The dolphin quay markets were so close as were many eating venues. The Forum was only a 10 minute drive and provided many interesting shops and more eating options. Mini golf located at the Maze was a delightful activity all the family enjoyed this very much . It was a mere 15 minute drive from the accommodation. The Pen provided the perfect venue for our big birthday lunch - great service and food.Guest review bydavies-moore - 8.0
Pick your time to visit carefully.
Pick your time to visit carefully. In wet season many things are closed or do not operate. If you hire a car a 4 WD Is advised due to some places of interest are on unsealed roads with corrugations.Guest review byTerenceAustralia - 10

There was a large range of activities: visiting the national park for the skywalk, Nature's Window and the Z bend, viewing the wildflowers, particularly in the national park, the cliff walks, paddling and swimming at the beaches, activities at the estuary-boats and canoes to hire, the cruises, patronising the cafes and restaurants.... The only hindrance was the wind which tended to pick up from the midmorning, but this is to be expected in October.Guest review byRosamundAustralia
