The castle was amazing - we spent several hours there and loved the falconry display - saw two displays which were different. Small town with a few nice places to eat. We only go here for the mountain bike race each year. So we eat in the town and buy things at the local shops. We loved the town of Marche-en-Famenne. Charming. All the residents we met were very kind. My 8 year old daughter and I spent a lovely couple of hours at the Art museum. We had a nice lunch at the restaurant L'EFFET BOEUF. Overall, a lovely place to visit.Guest review byPascalineFrance - 8.0

Ample parking with a lovely restaurant almost in the grounds of the car park. The hotel has a lovely bar and the breakfast was ample including freshly made omelettes. The staff are super friendly and made us feel very much at home. The area is very beautiful and everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful, even though our French isn't very good. There are wonderful hikes and even fishing spots. We went to a brewery called La Tharēe Bière and had a great time. We had dinner at Contes de Salme and I cannot recommend the stonegrill meals enough, so good and so much fun!
