The host was extremely friendly and welcoming! Very helpful in giving suggestions for activities to do on the island! Spoke English. A fabulous place to stay for amazing value! A large spacious room with comfortable bed. Table and chairs to enjoy the lovely lake view. We had a room with private bathroom included. Slept very well, very peaceful surroundings. A good size Breakfast was included, thoroughly enjoyed! It set us up for the day ahead!

The accommodation, location and hosts were amazing. The accommodation was super clean, new and the windows showed amazing views of the lake. It is quite a walk to get there, but it is 100% worth it, especially given that they provide luggage pick up (at a fair price) by a llama. The hosts were super welcoming providing information about surrounding hikes and great meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at a fair price.

The view was stunning also by night so many stars we had the apartment on the top floor with a private balkon. The room is really big and the shower as well it has all you need and it’s really cozy with nice details. The breakfast is a lot and healthy! Eggs, fruit, fresh smoothie fresh bread and more! We couldn’t wish for a better accommodation. The owners are really kind and helpfully. When you want to eat good healthy or vegan we can recommend pachamama by night it’s on the other side of the island where you can watch the sunset from there terras.

This is a beautiful property and stunning room with views to the snow capped mountings and glorious sunrise. I highly recommended room 4. This place is perfect you are looking for somewhere peaceful, clean and comfortable. Great bathroom too!

Excellent view on lake Titicaca. Breakfast was delicious. We could leave our backpacks after checkout to go for another hike. The family is very kind and friendly :) The shower was warm and Wi-Fi was quite good. We enjoyed a coca tea on the terrace in the sun. 200m away there are several really good restaurants with a perfect sunset view (Las Velas, Pachamama). Advise: the walk up the Island (30-40min) is very steep! Better deposit your big backpack in a hostel in Copacabana and only bring the stuff you need for the stay on Isla del Sol! Also, the sun is really intense up at 4000m, don’t forget your hat/cap/sombrero ;) Also, it gets pretty cold at night.

This was by far our best stay in Bolivia - the room is outstanding and the views are simply amazing. We got both breakfast and dinner in our room which was also very delicious. We do not understand the negative comments about the location. It is easy to reach from the closest harbour and every accomodation on the island involves some walking. You don’t get these views from being directly on the harbour
