A day trip to Niagara Falls was a highlight.
A day trip to Niagara Falls was a highlight. In the city, don't miss The Shoe Museum....as strange as it may sound. It was exceptional as well as Casa Loma. The story behind it, the "castle", the furnishings, were outstanding.Guest review byPeggieUnited States - 8.0

Yorkville is a charming area and a shopper's dream. Trattoria Nervosa and David Rocco's restaurant were charming spots to take a break from exploring and shopping in Yorkville. Queen's Harbour restaurant was a lively restaurant to visit. Food and service were great.Guest review byFrancescoCanada - 10.0

Was going to show at Budweiser stage. Waterside Inn's proximity to Port Credit GO station was a major consideration, just a short walk ( 7 minutes ) through a pleasant hospitality district and clean residential area directly to terminal door. Very convenient for trip to GO Exhibition stop / Ontario Place.Guest review byMichaelCanada - 6.0

This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.Guest review byZHENGCanada - 6.0
Toronto is a dump. Try getting anywhere in this city.
Toronto is a dump. Try getting anywhere in this city. There was gridlock on Lakeshore at midnight on a weeknight. The TTC is absolute garbage. There is construction everywhere but nothing is being constructed it just adds to the gridlock. I go to Toronto often enough to see the deterioration of the city. It’s sad because Toronto used to be an awesome place. Now it’s miserable. It’s too expensive and frustratingGuest review byEricaCanada - 8.0

Loved - the size and configuration of room, closeness to airport and quality of buffet. Second stay - during the first we had a number of issues related to the hotel being newly opened, but they were graciously resolved by the manager. Very annoyed that they still haven't got their "process and systems" fixed so they know which guests have paid for breakfast. Once again you go to breakfast, only to have the concierge tell you your breakfast isn't included even though you have paid for it. Once again standing in line with my family, embarrased that I have to prove to a staff member I have indeed paid for breakfast. Sort this out, the staff are all aware of the issue, they could let guests know its a problem when they check and sort it out proactively so its not an issue in the morning. Or just presume that everyone has paid for breakfast and don't hassle guests to prove they have paid for it. Annoying...but worse for guests who aren't English speakers trying to negotiate for what they have paid for.Guest review byLisaCanada
