The hotel must have one of the best views in all of Lauterbrunnen, it was truly breathtaking. Bathroom was clean, enough towels were provided for all of us and changed regularly. Fans were also provided since the temperatures were peak high, and they helped a lot. The breakfast buffet was simple and nice with an equally amazing view. Hotel staff was very friendly, especially Tristan at the reception, really well spoken.

    We ended here for one night because the place we had originally booked (independently) did not have a record of our final night. But boy, did we ever end up thankful for this little serendipity. This lodge turned out to be even more beautiful than the first (which we loved), and as this was our final night in the Bernese Alps, we could not have been more pleased. The view from our ("basic") room was outstanding, the staff could not have been nicer, the breakfast was good, and the location--quiet, lush and green, overlooking a little storybook village at the upper end of the Grindelwald canyon with a view of the mountains--was simply ethereal. Now I dream of coming back here in winter!

    The staff was so kind and the cabin we stayed in was so cute! It was in such a beautiful location with the waterfall right outside the door and a stunning view of the mountains. The staff was so helpful and helped us navigate to some of the other towns in the area and helped us to find some hikes to do. I wish we could have stayed longer we loved it so much. Plus everything was so clean and the bathrooms looked newly renovated.

    Incredible location (Bus stops at the front of the hotel and takes you anywhere, ski track next door, beautiful views!). The hotel is very stunning and each detail has been carefully thought of. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and all passes are available for purchase at the reception. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to return one day! Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Very impressed.

    When you get a personalised service, nothing like it. The staff were so cooperative particularly the head chef Mr. Raymond who went out of his way to help us in preparing food for our baby which was out of their routine. This has touched me.     We stayed for 3-1/2 days mostly hiking in the area in mid-August. Many tourists but manageable. Strongly, strongly suggest buying the Jungfrau Pass so you can access any trains, buses, and cable cars in the entire area. It makes it so easy to get around Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, First, and the Eiger. We should have booked a 5 day stay as there were some other hikes and attractions we wanted to take and see. Definitely go to Glacier Canyon and walk it to the end, but take warm clothes as the canyon is quite cool even in August due to the glacial runoff. And for sure visit the base of the Eiger. Suggest you also always get up early and get transport to your destination as late mornings (August) can be very busy and cause long lines.

    Great location with magical views. Train in walking distance to go to Jungfraujoch. Tickets were easily purchased at the campsite front desk. They could advise how busy the train was as their system seemed connected. There was a shop at the campsite with all the main items and there was a bigger supermarket also in walking distance. Restaurants and bar in the town also in walking distance. Great kitchen facilties at the campsite. We would stay longer to see more of the area.

    Wengen is a perfect spot to make home base while you explore the Lauterbrunnen and Jungfrau region. This car free village is easily accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen, where you find a relatively cheap car park and train access to Interlaken. Wengen felt less crowded than Mürren or Lauterbrunnen in the valley. There are numerous restaurants, stores, and two grocery stores in town to stock up on essentials. Getting around the area is easy thanks to the train and the Männlichen gondola.

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

    t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails. It’s beautiful the lake is stunning. We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

    We loved the trip to top of Jungfrau fabulous experience...

    We loved the trip to top of Jungfrau fabulous experience also Harder Kulm by the funicular and another brilliant trip was to Schynige Platte by cog railway which was brilliant. We also visited the Ballenberg open air museum which was very interesting and took us all day to go around it. Interlaken is a good central location for visiting the area
