- From $82.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 35 reviewsCosta Azul is a family owned business focused on outstanding personal service and enabling visitors to learn and experience the area's rich cultural traditions and history. The Saturday night cultural gastronomical experience which features dancing, preparation of empanadas "from scratch", and learning about the area's history and culture, led by the facility's proprietors, was particularly noteworthy. From the moment we arrived until checkout, we felt like honored guests being hosted on a family manor. This was one of my best weekend getaway experiences and I highly recommend staying at Costa Azul Glamping.Guest review byscorpio0679United States

They have something for even the pickiest eater. The hot springs are clean and hot, and our massage was great! The location also allows for a nice walk to the town nearby or the local country. I have stayed here three times now and I never tire of it.Guest review byRobertColombia

The local people were very warm and hospitable.
The local people were very warm and hospitable. The food and atmosphere at the eateries were chose was excellent. The town is beautiful as are the surrounds. We visited Raquira which is not far and a biodynamic winery Abaran. Great experiences both shopping, visiting a couple of local museums and other public buildings.Guest review bySiobhanAustralia - 10.0

I know Tunja well as I am an art historian and very interested in its historical sites. It has many "hidden treasures" in churches and small museums. It is also very close to small towns outside Tunja, such as Oicatá, which are totally worth it! Highly recommend.Guest review byPatriciaColombia - 8.0
✔ Paipa Cheese Experience: it's delicious
✔ Paipa Cheese Experience: it's delicious ✔ La Lupe Mexican Restaurant: very generous portions and nice owner ✔ Club Nautico: kayaking and wakeboarding on the lake for a good price ✔ Hiking: just going on a long walk circumnavigating the lake. ✘ Thermal Waters: I've been there before, but this time it was overpriced and the pool was crowded and kind of disgusting with grime all over the walls because they didn't clean it properly.Guest review byJamesCanada - 8.0
We arrived by bike coming over the high plains (Paramo).
We arrived by bike coming over the high plains (Paramo). It was a beautiful ride. Duitama isn't a tourist destination, really. It's just another nice town in Boyacá. We wree en route from Santa Marta to Bogotá, and I was drawn to the place by something inside. What we wanted was peace & quiet after many nights in noisy locations. It fit the bill. I had clutch problems with my bike, and José friend personally guided me to a good mechanic. The mechanic and I are also now in communication as he is travelling north towards Honduras by camper van soon. In a very short stay, we met a few quality people.Guest review byPaul - 8.0

The town is cute with historical charm - just like many other places in Boyaca.. However, due to the high mountain elevation - the weather tends to be rainy and cold. There are some nice restaurants, and (of course) lots of soccer balls, but otherwise, I would suggest one of the many other picturesque and more ambient towns in Boyaca..Guest review byKristinUnited States - 10.0
I liked most the variety on clay art.
I liked most the variety on clay art. You can find a huge of pieces that represent the ancestral art of potteries made with clay. Also, you can find clothes. During Holy week Ráquira is crowded becaude of sacral ceremonies and some peasants are catholic. We recommended to be careful with natural environment!Guest review byNestorColombia - 10.0

Everything was peaceful and beautiful. Grounds are amazing. The staff was very attentive and food was good. The pool could have been cleaner but I enjoyed it. But the best, for me, was the boat ride with Alfred. I will visit again.Guest review byAnaMaríaUnited States - 10.0

Super charming town... and there was a pizzaria that was as good as NY pizza (just saying) -- the architecture of the town and nearby river and bridge was really charming. Great place to experience for two days... take your time and have fun!Guest review byMariaLuisaUnited States - 8.0

Went for a wedding this time but have been there many times before. Love it for what it was 20+ years ago (a quiet little historic town of colonial architecture full of little local shops) and for what it has become: a great place for classical music, adventure (trekking, canyoning), events, art, handcrafts and great food!Guest review byMariaChile
