Its central location, right next to the old city and to the main shopping street, made it perfect for exploring the city. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish, with a comfortable bed that easily fit two people with room to spare. The bathroom was well-equipped, featuring a bathtub, vanity kit, and plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower after a long day. My room had a balcony overlooking the lively Zinonos Kitieos street; while there was some street noise, it wasn’t too disruptive, and I still had a great night’s sleep. The hotel also features a rooftop pool (unheated), with a beautiful view of the city. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was very good. We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. There are many small streets to stroll around.
There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. Nice place to escape from noisy city to a quiet place, highly recommend for group of friends, couples and travellers with animals. All staff are pet friendly. The area is nice and clean. The rooms are good and tidy, bed is very nice and comfortable, bedsheets are nice and fresh. Bathroom is good but has lots of plaque in the sink and shower facilities as well as glasses, plates and cutlery in the kitchen - will recommend to take it into management consideration. Lovely little place with pretty houses to look at and a few facilities such as small shops and restaurants. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday and good to be able to access bigger places within half an hour if looking for a busier day. Located in the hills about 10-15 mins from the sea and beaches, Tochni is an unspoilt authentic traditional village with classic Mediterranean vibes. Many of the streets are pedestrian only, narrow and lined with charming stone buildings. In the centre near the main Church there is a cute little grocery store and fantastic village taverna. Small but very clean and beautiful village. Pleasant to walk about. Great restaurant, Retro, good quality, fair prices. Village square offers a nice cafe at very reasonable prices.
