- From US$261.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,661 reviewsIt's a very family-friendly hotel: our 2,5 year old loved the splash area (especially the crocodile), the playground, the kid's club and the arcade. The food buffet had a good variety and house keeping made a different towel animal every day which we were always looking forward. The hotel is big enough to have lots of activities on offer but not too big to have to walk too far everywhere. Us adults really liked the slides in the water park and the cocktails overlooking gorgeous sunsets on the terrace.Guest review byVeraBelgium

Paphos is a beautiful and compact location and everything is within easy reach. Hotels are good quality and the staff at Almyra Hotel were fantastic. The roads have been upgraded- no potholes. I would advise to hire a car : we used PafoRentals - Mr.Antonis and Mr.Tomasz - absolute gentleman - door to door service and good quality vehicles. Restaurants are very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the local ‘Greek mama’s kitchen’ eatery Kourides up in central Paphos.Guest review byRheaTheoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!Guest review byDimitrisCyprus - 10.0

Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National...
Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National Park is just stunningly beautiful. Honestly, I have never seen such gorgeous blue sea, and picturesque rocky seaside. I underestimated Akamas and thought could be hiked in a couple of days, but it is massive and it is just simply put an amateur hiker's dream. Not too hard to climb and walk around, but still enough of a challenge. Rocky cliffs going up, and open view of a huge portion of the north-western part of Cyprus, with lush greenery and hidden paths on the inner side (that doesn't look out onto the sea). The area in Neo Chorio is well-kept and neat and it's wonderful to walk through even on car roads. Tip: March to June or September to November seems to be the best time to visit Cyprus. I would be cautious with the sun, as some areas are rather open without much shade.Guest review byTimea IrénHungary - 10.0

It was mid March and so out of m ain season but plenty of restaurants open and a good choice, especially if you loke sea food. Perhaps a bit pricey compared to other places. Lachi good place for exploring the area by bus and within walking distance of Polis along the coast.Guest review byBryanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area.
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area. The only (comfortable) way to get there is by car, so renting one is a must or very highly advisable. The beach is a bit rough and covered with pebbles, like most beaches in Cyprus, but you can still find couple of sandy spots for an easy entrance. You will be there alone most of the time. It felt however that some works are/were under way to make it a bit more "touristy". There are couple of small shops in the are but I would recommend passing by LIDL in Limassol or Paphos on your way from the airport to stock up major groceries for your stay. You may still buy ice-cream, pepsi and bread in the local shops at twice the normal price :-) P.S. Sunsets are simply fantastic.Guest review bySimakinGermany - 10.0

Excellent location and quiet for the busy time of the year we visisted. It was not so hot and humid and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Also a very short drive to the beach and nearby interesting villages. There was an excellent tavern in Droushia and many excellent eating places in nearby villages. We enjoyed this part of the island very much and this village was an excellent choice. I would strongly recommend for families.Guest review byEfrosiniCyprus - 4.0

The best thing about the apartment was that it was near to The nightlife. Unfortunately the apartment was very poorly equipped no sunshade on the Veranda and was too hot to sit out without. Veranda light broken, I stayed for two weeks and had to ask for clean bedding in the kitchen poorly equipped and some of the dishes were chipped, last but not least and the door handle to the apartment fell off was very disappointed with the apartment.Guest review byJanice
