The lady at the reception was absolutely amazing, super friendly and ready to help with everything. Looked like she is doing everything around there, also always refilling the breakfast plates and everything. Breakfast had all you could want as well. They have a restaurant as well, and the food in the restaurant is a must try :) There is a 200 CZK national park fee you need to pay to enter the area. This is not from them, but from the Czech National Park. You can pay it at a machine at the bottom of the hill, right next to the main skiing place. This stay was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't be more happier. The owner was friendly, very communicative and respond on all my massages. The place was sparkling clean and we really enjoyed our stay. I would be aware if you travel with toddlers as there is no gate for stairs but every room has door, so no trouble. Just what I noticed. Janske Lazne is a ski resort which is not very suitable for beginners, in the sense that there are relatively few blue slopes. They do have beginner area's, but they are not in the main area, 5 minutes by bus away from the Gondola. The Gondola only takes 7 minutes and you have a nice 10-15 minute downhill (skiing average). Friendly people and good restaurants on the slopes. The number of restaurants in the village itself is limited. Very little town but it features a few restaurants and some smaller shops. Looks a bit weird as some old buildings are seemingly unused and run-down while others are in a very good shape.
