- From $188.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 230 reviewsit was great we could park in the garages, and that there is elevator in the building. Room had additional floor for our child (good for 2 children), it was very nice to have child separated from us (but no door in between). TV programs in German were good. We liked that hotel served a lot of fruit. Cleaning was good, we had enough towels and toilet paper.Guest review byOksanaCzech Republic

It is very easy to get around Karlovy Vary.
It is very easy to get around Karlovy Vary. We been walking 20-24 000 steps a day discovering everyday something new. We took all possible exursions and the one was more favorite was visiting Locket with perfect guide Yelena, she is terrifically good and knowlegebale with such a sense of humor ! Avoid restoran "Kolonada".The soup goulash in bread contained mostly pieces of potatoes and almost none of meat. The "vareniki"/dumplings with potato even don't try- they put them from the store pakage to boil and it taste so bad, sticky dough... In the end while we were asking the bill and waitress did not returned my change of 46 crowns because she saw that we could not eat anything beside borsh... Also my husband ordered the lamb steak with garlic sauce: he got so hard thin piece of fried ( and not grilled as annonced in the menu)meat with 2 small peices of garlic on it... Non tasty , no esthetically attractive- -"0" customer service . AVOID THIS PLACE in front of beautiful ColonadaGuest review byDarinaCanada - 10.0
The Singing Fountain is just magical--especially at night!
The Singing Fountain is just magical--especially at night! Try to go when it's open. The town center is quiet, peaceful, and safe. It's a very walkable place in general. Drinking water from all its springs was fascinating. The food options were quite good--no chains but a lot of "mom and pop" places with no shortage of cuisine types. The locals don't speak the best English, but that's to be expected in a small town. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and spring is definitely the best time of year to go!Guest review byMichaelCzech Republic - 10.0
Nice and relaxing town.
Nice and relaxing town. We went in March so there were not many tourists. We enjoyed walks on the town's colonade and surrounding parks full of healing springs. They are good for multiple diseases. We enjoyed wellness that our hotel offered, massages and mud baths. It was nice to relax and de-stress. There are many historical sights in the area and surrounding villages and towns. Cheb town and Loket town are in driving distance with castles and interesting history.Guest review byKristynaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The old town was beautiful.
The old town was beautiful. The hiking trails in the surroundings offered great views of the old town, and a nice place for forest bathing. Also, there are good bicycle paths that are well sign-posted.Guest review byWSingapore - 8.0
Cheb is a town with a fascinating history and a main square...
Cheb is a town with a fascinating history and a main square (commemorating King John of Podebrad) that has buildings dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. Check out particularly the houses at the far end of the square and read their history. It's a varied and interesting street scene. The main church at the far end of the square is Romanesque in origin but parts were destroyed in the war. As always in central Europe some buildings suffered in the various wars in the 16th and 17th centuries. Some buildings are typical of the Art Nouveau/secession style and have been well restored. We were really glad to have visited this part of Sudetenland - now ,of course thoroughly Czech even if some people do still speak some German. Restaurants weren't particularly memorable but the beer (as always!) good. Always make sure you arrive at a restaurant by 7.30 latest: most close at 8.00Guest review byValerieAustria - 6.0

In my view the local authorities and hotel owners should take better care of cleaning the snow inside the town and organising traffic on the town premises. It was really hard and sometimes dangerous to walk the streets because of the piles of snow and many cars trying to pass through the narrow streets full of snow.Guest review byŠtěpánkaCzech Republic - 10.0

Jáchymov is a small and charming town nestled in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge / Krušné hory). We were truly impressed by its rich history, which adds a special atmosphere to the place. The town has a local museum and a large Catholic church. Another great advantage is its convenient location near several ski resorts, making it an excellent base for winter sports enthusiasts. Overall, Jáchymov is a lovely town with a unique historical charm, perfect for both exploring and relaxing! 🏔️✨Guest review byJulia and Friedrich MerzGermany - 8.0

I think Sokolov is quite underestimated as a tourist attraction. There is a wonderful downtown square, and a worth seeing Coal Minors' house. We had some meal at the restaurant Galeria situated at the main square. Nice staff and meal. Strongly recommend it. ot far from Sokolov there is a Bernard's State, It is a wonderful place with a pleasnt atmosphere in the midst of nature.Guest review byNataliaCzech Republic - 10.0
The town is beautiful. There are ONLY TWO PUBLIC SPAS!
The town is beautiful. There are ONLY TWO PUBLIC SPAS! Thermal Hotel (wish I highly recommend) and Elizabeth Spa. I spent two days trying to find the "Natural Hot Springs" to soak in. Finally, a man at a bar told me there are really only the two. Information Center - there are signs all over the town directing you to the Information Center. Finding it is another thing. There is ONLY ONE, just past Hotel PUPP. This is the ONLY PLACE YOU CAN BUY A REGION CARD! The staff at the information center were very nice and polite. Here's the BUT, they answered every question you asked. BUT, if you didn't know the right question to ask, the information was not offered. This led to MANY trips back to the information center. Region Card - not sure it's really worth it. First, there is not one place to sign up for any attractions (i.e. the underground, walking tours etc.). You have to call a number, which you need to ask for the brochure (see line above) that has the numbers. There is a two-day advance requirement to sign up for anything. For a short trip it just is to hard to do. If I come back, armed with this information, it will make the trip more enjoyable.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
