Berlin has character. It's one of the coolest cities in the world! Great places to eat, hang out with friends, walk & explore and of course it's the best party place! The apartment was in a quiet serene area. Walking distance to Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Rewe supermarket within walking distance. Bustop right outside the apartment. Apartment was fully equipped and had all the amenities one may require. Cosy, clean and beautiful. Hot showers, comfortable beds, sun room. I really like the mix in Berlin.
I really like the mix in Berlin. It's clearly a working city, but there's plenty of touristy things to do. The history is obviously it's main draw, it's fascinating. There are some stunning buildings that we learnt were rebuilt following WWII and Soviet rule. Also some really ugly USSR style buildings which add an interesting contrast. We did a walking tour which was excellent - Discover Berlin Half-Day Walking Tour booked on Tripadvisor. Walid who took our tour was great, very knowledgeable and funny. We also attended a version of Cabaret at the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT Theater which was excellent and would thoroughly recommend it.Guest review byJanetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If anyone is interested in the history of the 2nd World War then Berlin is certainly a must see. So many Spy novels and films over the last 50 years often use it as a backdrop....
