Very welcoming, helpful, friendly, great breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel, also excellent. For me though, the icing on the cake was the storage for bicycles. Never in many hotel stays whilst cycle-touring have I seen somewhere where they have gone to such lengths. Not only was there brand new secure storage, but it had also been equipped with tools and charging facilities for those on e-bikes (not me, but can still appreciate the effort taken to accommodate them!). The location was great - within walking distance of the train station, supermarkets, and some good restaurants. Breakfast had a nice variety, and everything was fresh. We stayed in the new building and asked last minute for the sleeper coach to be made for our daughter as well as a room with a bath and both approved as our requests. The bedding was fantastic. The breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. The room had a small fridge, stove and washing, ideal for families with kids. I am biased because I used to spend annual summer holidays staying with my grandparents when I was little and have loved every minute. This is a wonderful rental apartment. Spacious, and great location. Parking was great for our rental car. The water pressure was awesome in the shower. Very modern features, like the TV that had Netflix and could change the language to English on some channels. Grocery stores were nearby.
