- From $155.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 5.3Fair - What previous guests thought, 995 reviewsSigita, who checked me in, was very sweet, attentive and helpful with information. She noted the option for basic self-catering cottages which you clean yourself have no heating and I could check first if I needed something different (e.g. property offers various options: camping, basic cottages, hotel rooms, full seaside cabins, etc.) Although it was very cold for October, there was plenty of provided bedding (bring your own linen or rent). It was simple but sufficient with a couch, bunkbeds, table, amazingly quick kitchen appliances (supermarket & bakery only 100 m away), patio, and plenty of communal bathrooms that were maintained regularly by a friendly gentleman. For an additional fee, you could access an indoor pool with a steam room, spa treatments, outdoor sauna, bicycle rental, laundry, and various tours including a horse ranch nearby. There is also an outdoor pool and restaurant which opens for breakfast, lunch and buffet dinner. I thought it was excellent to have all these amenities on-site if wanting to stay in a bit more of a quieter part of the island but best to have a vehicle or rent a bike as local transport varies on seasonal schedule if exploring.Guest review byHuyen VyCanada

We visited the sky gardens in the centre of Aarhus which was stunning. Would also recommend at least 4 hours to visit Den Gamble By. A town which has been built using properties from throughout Denmark. Must visit Syv13 Restaurant for an excellent view and great food and atmosphere. A wonderful place and well worth a visit...we hope to return in the not too distant!Guest review byValerieUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Aalborg is interesting but not a must-see city that gives a perspective on North Jutland's geography. It has a student feel. Plan your visit for Tuesday-Saturday, as many museums are closed Sunday and Monday.Guest review byWendyUnited States - 6.0

The town itself is dull and unremarkable, completely lacking character. The main attraction is Legoland, which is truly worth recommending. The Lego House absolutely amazed me—we had planned to spend 4 hours there but ended up staying for more than 8. The area around the town is green, with pleasant campsites. I think it’s an interesting place for cycling trips, but I wouldn’t want to stay overnight in the city center.Guest review byDamianPoland - 10
We were really happy with our visit to Vejle.
We were really happy with our visit to Vejle. I had read that it was an interesting place to visit but was still very surprised how much was going on during our weekend. I love visiting cities I can walk around and Vejle is easily walkable. Walking from harbour (east side) to the Cultural Museum (west side) was a bit too far for our 5 year old to do in one go without needing a snack but overall a great city to visit with a family.Guest review byChrisWexIreland - 10

Kolding is a small city, but blended with different dynamic ambiance, people of different diversities are living there. Convenient transportation, old and beautiful Danish buildings for artistic pleasure, a university (SDU) and a public library for intellectual enjoyment. Walking along the roads in the central part or wandering around the lake are always very soothing. Besides, Koldinghus is a very worthy choice, where radical architectural designs back up the old brick wall, new lifestyle merges well with the tradition. They even have a live performance show mimicking the old royal life.Guest review byYang - 6.0

A very clean and quiet city; the hotel was ok; the restaurant in the hotel was serving the breakfast which was very good; dinner served there quite expensive and not too many choices to pick from. City Center very very nice! Denmark 🇩🇰 overall is a beautiful destinationGuest review byMARIOCanada - 10
It's a small and quiet Danish city.
It's a small and quiet Danish city. It's not very touristy, but it has a cinema, a library, a shopping center, a bunch of restaurants and excellent public transport connection. One of the tings I enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere.Guest review bySinanGermany - 10

Beautiful town, easy to walk around, lots of shops and food choices. I would recommend Luna Ristorante Skagen for dinner the food was excellent. Enjoyed stops at Grenen or Den Tilsandede Kirke. Stayed at the Skagen Harbor Hotel and was very pleased with accommodations and breakfast that was included.Guest review byNormaUnited States - 10

I visited Sonderborg since I have ancestors who went from there to Australia about 150 years ago. I knew very little about the town and the island of Als and wished to learn more. Having spent five days there I am now delighted to know that it is part of my heritage.Guest review byRobynAustralia - 10
A town with historical significance and many pearls within...
A town with historical significance and many pearls within walking distance. For a couple of days, walk the pedestrian area, visit "Latinerhaven" and Skovgaard Museum with the works of "guldaldermaler" P.C. Skovgaards (and family) and continue to Domkirken and see the frescos made by his son. Domkirken has visible history back a 1000 years. Stroll the well preserved middle age cobble stone streets. Go to the Borgvold park at the lakes and enjoy the calmness. Nice restaurants e.g on "Nytorv" from traditional Danish ("Fru Thomsen") to Italian ("Kehlet"), and specialty shops (sour dough products at "Simpel Surdej" and beer tasting at "Viborg Bryghus" - note, only open on certain days)Guest review byHans DDenmark
