FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 123 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,413 reviewsGreat Stay Right on the Oceanfront We had a wonderful time at this hotel! It’s located right on the oceanfront with a beautiful beach just steps away. The hotel was clean, and the pool area was really cool and relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely top – perfect for beach lovers. We felt like we were the only non-Spanish-speaking guests, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Would definitely recommend!Guest review byRolfSwitzerland

Every evening they organise a new show, for example flamenco, which we could watch from the cute outside bar. Good price for value, very highly recommended!Guest review byKlaraSlovenia

I had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Seville.
I had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Seville. I was visiting an old friend, so we didn't do as much sight-seeing as I would usually do. The best thing we did together was to take a cooking class! It was located in a market. We met so many other wonderful people and had a great time making local/Spanish food using local ingredients. We took a walking tour that lasted around 2 hours. We saw city hall, beautiful churches, a castle, parks, the river, and other beautiful things. Our tour guide was amazing, too. We visited Alcazar and its beautiful gardens. We shopped in local markets and stores. We ate the best ice cream in shops all over the city. We ate a local restaurants my friend and her family frequent often, and we had drinks with friends on rooftop bars. Finally, we went to an amazing Flamenco show in the older part of the city.Guest review byPrince - 10.0

Malaga is a great city. The food is stellar. The atmosphere and night life are stellar. The beaches are great. It is a short trip to wonderful sites like Alhambra and Gibraltar. It is one of my favorite cities in Europe.Guest review byMitchellUnited States - 10.0
I was there for work so not much time to ‘be a tourist’.
I was there for work so not much time to ‘be a tourist’. Nevertheless the city is steeped in history, wonderful hidden jams, great restaurants with of course tapas and very fresh seafood. A bit of a language barrier at times in English - French seems to work better. The people were genuinely helpful and pleased to meet strangers.Guest review byDUNCAN ATKINSUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Stunning city.
Stunning city. Fascinating history and incredible sights to see. It gets VERY hot though. Late September and it was 35 degrees. We pre-booked visits and tours using Viator. All worked out perfectly. Did a Tuk Tuk tour (great way to see the city), went on a guided tour of the Mosque (best monument visit we’ve ever been on) and went to an amazing Flamenco show Tablao flamenco El Cardenal which we highly recommend.Guest review byNiallUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great coastline full of lovely beaches.
Great coastline full of lovely beaches. Sandy, safe, clean water and suitable for sunbathing or for families. Lots to do in Marbella itself but absolutely miles upon miles of coastline to work with, with lots of beach bars and little villages along the way.Guest review byjoUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Easy to get to via train and bus. Wide, clean beaches, a very efficient town hall from my experience. People are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, not to most architecturally interesting of towns, but safe and welcoming. Malaga is in very easy reach for a wider cultural experience of Spain.Guest review byTedUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's hard to explain why we liked Cadiz so much. The vibe of old town is great. Laid back, easy going, good food and coffee - what's not to like. Beaches are close by. Lots of character. Go to Cadiz!Guest review byBethanyUnited States - 10.0

Fuengirolla is a busy resort that spreads along the coastine past Los Boliches to Torreblanca. You can find beaches, restaurants and bars to suit your taste. The 'Square' is at the heart of the town, the Bubba Bar and Casa Colon being our favourites. The train is an easy way to visit other local areas as far back as Malaga at very reasonable prices. What's not to like?Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Nerja was a beautiful town with lovely little beach alcoves.
Nerja was a beautiful town with lovely little beach alcoves. The Balcon de Europa had stunning sunset views. Great restaurants & bars with plenty of lovely shops. Friendly safe vibes when strolling around. Easy to visit local towns by local bus. Best steak at a restaurant called ‘Rare’ advise booking a table on their terrace. Best cocktails also.Guest review byGerardIreland
