The location was great! It was within walking distance of the sites we came to see. The staff was very helpful allowing us to leave our luggage behind the desk when we arrived 2 hours before check-in time as well as for 5 hours after check out time due to our train schedules. It was very well maintained and cleaned and the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful.

The hotel location is very good, only 5 minute walk to the mail square of Zamora. It has a big parking lot in front, which ig great if you are travelling with one, since the city centre is closed for cars, so you can leave it in front in this case. Breakfast was very nice, with a lot of options and fresh productes. Room sizes are nice and very nicely furnished.

Leon is a tad touristy but still retains some of Europes most beautiful Archtecture not least of which is the Cathedral of course - built with a population supposedly around 5000 leaves one in awe at what was built … and where the money came from . The modern side will entertain the shopaholics ( you know who you are !) but the cultural bit can be done in a few days with ease . Restaurants cater for all .

Disgusting place. Rude person on the desk. Parking? Forget it. A garage shared by the entire old building with spaces too small for any modern car. The front desk person has to walk ahead of you and point out the space you must park in - disgusting. That is my only way to describe this hotel from hell.

It's a beautiful city with a huge history. It is so relaxing and interesting. We weren't looking for nightlife - but there were so many local bars that were much more fun. We were 5 minutes' walk from Plaza Mayor and less than 10 minutes from the house where Miguel de Cervantes (Don Quixote author) lived and also the surprisingly interesting Museums of Sculptures (you need to stick with it to see the whole thing: ra-ra-ra promotion is not a strong point for Valladolideros(?) - e.g. they could make a fortune impulse-selling Don Quixote dual-language books but there were none to be found.) It's also a great base for touring the Ribera del Duero.

The hotel was in a good location although not easy to find and there wasn’t free parking on the site. Not far from the restaurants and near the river with a nice walk. We only stayed overnight enroute on our journey. We have stayed at nh hotels before and find them very comfortable and clean.

I wanted to visit Soria because of the nearby archeological site of Numancia. I had read El Cerco de Numancia by Cervantes as a student and remembered the site. The Museo Numantino in Soria has fascinating artifacts from the archeological site and other locations in the area. Wonderful Roman glass, pottery, jewelry and sculptures. In addition, Soria is a lovely medieval small city well-worth a visit away from more crowded tourist locations such as Barcelona and San Sebastian...

If you are a fan of Gaudi's architecture , a lover of history, or a Camino Pilgrim, then this town is a must for a couple of days visit. The old city is easy to navigate on foot. The chocolate museum is also worthwhile if your time allows. If we were traveling by car then I think we should have liked to stay an additional night and explore some of the surrounding area. As it was we were slowly making our way by bus from Santiago de Compostella to fly out of Madrid after having walked the Portuguese Camino.
