Excellent Hotel with superb staff. we were received at the reception by Alex and Maria who were very helpful, always with a smile on their faces and very professional and made us feel welcome. the rooms are very clean and you have everything you need. the hotel in general looks new, smells very good, the location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions in the city but at the same time a quiet area. We would almost return to Bilbao just for this hotel

One of the best designed hotels I have ever stayed in. The interior design of all the spaces is top notch. Spatious rooms and a large bed. The breakfast is a la carte and has some interesting and creative items. Was upgraded for free to a better room and got a free drink for self-checking.

Tatiana the receptionist was amazing! She accommodated all our needs and was the most caring person. Hotel is fantastic! All the staff is absolutely amazing! Brekafast chefs are just the most charming guys ever! And the biggest surprise was the life Pianist playing while they were serving brekafast on Sunday. Its all those small little extras which you will never find in other hotels. Selection of food at the breakfast is outstanding. All eggs and pancakes are prepared right in front of you and not those soggy disgusting things you will get at other places. I am impressed beyond and highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you so much for making our stay absolutely exquisite ✨️

- The room was facing Guggenheim Museum (as we expected) which made my husband's birthday quite special. But it was never enough by itself. There were many other reasons which made the day. -The reception staff was very kind and welcoming. We were expecting a courier to the reception. They have taken the note and placed the package in the room whenever it is received. - The room amenities were high quality and refilled rapidly. Thank you for the fresh water, also for coffee & night chocolates. -Great thanks to the housekeeping! They were really good at what they are doing. Appreciated!🙏🏾 -The breakfast was nicely prepared with fresh & quality ingredients. -The breakfast service team was very welcoming & organized. They were making the breakfast experience smooth in every way. After omlette our service has been changed without even requesting, appreciated🙏🏾 -The building itself was simple and nicely decorated. -The location was good, the airport bus is passing by just few steps away from the hotel. -Last but not least "Thank you for the freshly cooked birthday cake. 🙏🏾"

Our trip to Bilbao was absolutely magical- truly the best vacation we’ve ever had. And this was so much due to the staff at Hotel Miró. They were incredible. They were so responsive, helped us arrange car trips and a babysitter, and genuinely took care of us whenever we needed anything. We had a family room package and the staff even arranged for some toys for our toddler in the room. I’ve never met a more caring, cohesive staff. This is clearly due to stellar management. Rubén, Esther, Gorka, Bryan, Mamen, they were like family to us. We want to go back just to stay at this gem of a hotel. We genuinely did not want to leave. We are so grateful for the kindness and love these people showed us. The location of this hotel is the best in Bilbao. It is across the street from a gorgeous park with an outdoor little cafe and the famous Guggenheim museum. We walked everywhere. It is indisputably the best hotel in Bilbao.

Maybe we are not the Traveller looking at all sites, but we want to feel the life! We enjoyed the expressions in terms of banners, posters etc and thus we were glued rather to old town or the immediate area opposite. 2-3 days for same is sufficient. However, do not skip the hanging bridge closest to port. Definitely worth the metro ride!

Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

A great neighbourhood to experience authentic life in another country and culture. Weekends are festive in the area with lots of activity at the local bars and cafes. Not many tourists around though... more elderly population noticeable.

The beaches and harbour were lovely.

The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

Bermeo's main attraction is the harbour area where all the bars & restaurants are located and few steps walk up and you can see everything Bermeo has to offer. The part of Bermeo away from the harbour is mainly residential with tall towers, which we can say is the new extended Bermeo

First of all Lekeitio is a very safe town.

First of all Lekeitio is a very safe town. Walked a lot and always felt safe. It is the best little coastal town with beaches, bakeries, bars, restaurants, parking, grocery and other stores, within walking distance. We stayed at 20 Beheko Kalea and it was a perfect location - the port was about 4 minutes away. Didn't go into the water at the beach, but my grandkids did later this month and they totally loved it. We ate at the bar/restaurants by the port and we also ate at Restaurant Egana. All was great.

Visited this quaint beach/surfer town in off-season and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very few foreign tourists. A couple nice tapas bars were open and filled with locals. Charming streets and views of the sea. Frequent, reliable train service available to other towns along the coast and all the way to Bilbao.

The Museo de la Paz is impressive, a visit there cannot miss during the trip. For dinner it is necessary to book a tablet in advance, as per all the cities in the Basque Country. With the Eusko train you can reach in 30 minutes some villages on the coast such as Mundaka and Bermeo, very beautiful places. You can buy the Barik card to travel at a very low price on all kind of public transport in Bizkaya.

Small town within reach easily of the ferry about 11 minutes to ferry from hotel. Friendly helpful people rooms very clean and warm. This part of Spain is very Green lots of trees reminds me of Wales and also buildings are French oriented some like in ski resorts very lovely countryside.

Bakio is a terrific beach and surfing resort, but we didn't go for either of those. We went because it's close to Gaztelugatxe and there are some very good restaurants nearby. And a txakoli museum! Check it out!
