The location was very central in walking distance (2-5min) to shops, cafes and restaurants. Nili restaurant is directly next to it. Beds were comfy. room was clean and the windows can be opened (unlike in other hotels) for some fresh air. Rooms are also very well sound proof. breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, even for vegan people. Kind staff at the reception.

There was a small misunderstanding at the beggining but everything was resolved super fast and they even gave us chocolates as a present. The place is great, very confortable and quiet. They are very flexible about the time of use of the sauna. Very recomendable, nice people.

The property has stunning and scenic views, feels surreal! No words to describe how beautiful Aurora Island is, by far the best place I have travelled to. The accommodation is warm and cosy and has everything you need for a welcoming stay. Amazing for my teenage boys! Enough to do to keep them entertained! Including rolling about in the snow! Great location, right behind the bus stop where you can take buses to Santa Claus Village, Santa Park and Rovaniemi airport. Hotel has 2 buildings are connected to each other by underground passage, quite unique. Rooms are spacious - had booked family room with bunk bed. Hotel is 2 mins walk to the main shopping street.

It’s a small town, better to use Uber for transportation...

It’s a small town, better to use Uber for transportation than local taxi, rent a car would be best. Make arrangements for ready to eat foods as most food joints will close by 8 pm. Wilt app is good for serving food and groceries. For northern lights hunting, better to book for guaranteed sighting with refundable options otherwise.

Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. At end of July, sunset around midnight for only a short time, which is cool.

Our stay was perfect and would 100% recommend. The apartment was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. We were a group of girls for a hen party and it was absolutely perfect for us. The location was great!
