The property is fabulous the best art deco hotel outside of New York. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a balcony room with a view of the mountains. The restaurant was really good the food was excellent. The walk to the town is no more than 5 minutes: the station is about 15mins in te car with direct trains to Geneva. Definitely recommend. Ideal to sleep over and access cities around. Annecy is lovely and Geneve has a lot to offer but you can also easily go to Evian, or even other cities in Switzerland like Lausanne, in little time. It is a perfect location for someone who wants to live close to Geneva. It is very peaceful and quiet, although it's developing fast. It's my perfect location, close to the mountain tracks and ski slopes. Great pubs and delicious croissants. I don't recommend the room was so tiny even 1-person can't stay. In the room picture they mentioned 3 beds, but it was bunker bed. Bus 60 (formaly known as "F") and 61 will take you back/forth to Geneva and Palias des Nations within 10-15 minutes, and to Cornavin train station in about 20 minutes (obviously also depends on the traffic). Annemasse is located near border with Switzerland. A border town, poorly maintained, not giving good vibes. At the time we visited, there were a lot of road works in progress, making it hard to navigate with car. We could not drive to our apartment. We could not find safe parking place. Very nice place to stay. Home away from home and is situated ideally in a nice neighbor hood.
