We know only a handful of French phrases and the lovely owner knew only a handful of English phrases, but she was very welcoming and showed us through the apartment and communicated all we needed to know. The terrace had an amazing view over the water. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is really nice and in a wonderful area. I travelled with my 16 year old daughter and we love the hotel and the area. The view is wonderful with the blue water. We stayed three nights and would have like to stay longer. We had a standard room with a view of the ocean and with a balcony. The room was beautiful and the beds comfortable. The balcony had chairs that you could relax in. The bathroom was big and had both a bathtub and a shower. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of choices of both bread and sweets. There is also a juicemachine and you can make freshjuice. They had glutefree bread and one sweet. And very good scrambled eggs and ham and sausage. It is nice to sit and have breakfast with the view of the sea. The area is really nice by the water and it is nice to be on the sundeck by the pool and relax. The staff is nice and helpful and yes, they dont speak much english but they try and it works comunicating even if you dont speak french. Very nice hotel!

    The location is just beautiful with great views of the sea and beach on your doorstep. Great food across all parts of the hotel, breakfast, main restaurant for dinner and a choice of the pool bar or beach restaurant for lunch. The team are very welcoming and attentive with a great eye on personal service. Wonderful to also see the hotel manager Stephenie meeting and greeting everyone on a daily basis across the day. The rooms and terrace make the most of the location and full markers for a comfortable, spacious bed with quality linen too.

The area is quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing, while still being very central. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and cozy.     The chateau is actually better than in the reviews. The rooms don’t have AC, but for us in July it was not an issue, anyways we don’t sleep with the AC on at home. The place is a lovely quiet oasis with a royal vibe. The breakfast is served on the terrace or inside and they have a lot iv variety of sweet and savoury things. We appreciated the free minibar in the room. All in all, we should have stayed more.

    we liked the hotel very much. The rooms were very comfortable. We are a big family party of 12, even though we didn't make a reservation for the dinner, the stuff at the restaurant did their best and served a great dinner. The close the big gate at 8 pm, which was great for us. Kids played in the garden freely. We all liked the hotel very much.

    there are no 5star hotel groups there.. no Mario's or sheratons or Hiltons ? wonder why ?? the hotels are overpriced for the value we get. But the city is lovely and a very nice place to visit. Ie. the Breakfast place where we stay - the older generation with old mentality are Races and Rude, but the new younger generation are very nice and polite. I thin the older ones have their pains in the Ass..s to worry

    It's simply wonderful.

    It's simply wonderful. The town is just the right size, not too big yet not too small. All the facilities are within walking distance. There are lots of bars, reataurants and shops, including supermarkets. The beach is great, too. It's not overcrowded. The prices in some eatieries might seem too high, but it's possible to find some affordable places.

    Great town with a lovely beach, the port was great and there was a lot of activities nearby which we didn’t get to try. An excellent alternative to staying in Saint-Tropez A lot of amusement and water parks and climbing for kids within walking distance. Good restaurants and cafes .

    Cogolin is a great base for enjoying the surroundings of Saint-Tropez. Cogolin is a quaint town where every building has a small boat pier, situated throughout a network of canals. The adjacent Port Grimaud is very cute and all other locations such as Saint Tropez, Ramatuelle, and Pamplonne are only a short drive away.

    Very quiet and classy part of southern France. Somewhere to relax and chill out with lovely restaurants and options for day and evening. Less busy than some of the towns further up the coast but still easy to get to via car / taxi.

    What I love the most about the beautiful village of La Croix...

    What I love the most about the beautiful village of La Croix-Valmer is the vibes. Local, loving people, quiet, but not so quiet, especially in the center where we can have public beaches, pizza at ''Super Pizza Restaurant'' and any other restaurants, Boulangerie and ''Spar'' Supermarkt. Also, we can hike (my partner and I went for a hike) from Plage l'Escalet to Plage Gigaro. It was so hot in the summer, but we could always have a skin dip and swim along the way. The breathtaking panorama along the way was absolutely worth it!! Finally, we did wine testing (Dégustation de Vins) at Domaine Tropez. Very nice and very recommended! and visited Port Grimaud and a beautiful full-of-flower village nearby called ''Gassin'' :)

    The port of Gassin has a very large harbour with lots of super yachts. There are several restaurants facing the harbour. There is also a large shopping centre just behind the holiday complex, very handy for self catering. Its also possible to walk to Post Grimaund, which is like a mini Venice.

    Great beaches, a few of nice eateries near various good beaches.Little shops very close by selling everything you might need. Including delicious pastries & bread for the morning.Cycle paths alongside the coast road. Fabulous walking trails, if prepared to go uphill the views are worth it, or get dropped off near the top, easier, & walk down, that’s how I did it 😊
