We recently stayed at this hotel with our two active kids and were thoroughly impressed by the experience. We stayed in comfort apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room + kitchen. It was incredibly spacious, giving us all plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. The hotel's amenities, including a game room, swimming pool, and a beautifully maintained garden, were fabulous and provided endless entertainment for the kids. What stood out most was the friendliness and attentiveness of the owner and the staff - Frank and Matthew; they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and even shared some Tour de France goodies with our kids. Truly attentive attitude. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the city center made it convenient for family outings, even though it's 10 min walk through the field. It gave a feeling of staying close to the city, but having a nice relaxed atmosphere in the countryside as well. This hotel truly understands the needs of their guests, including families with kids and makes every effort to provide a memorable stay. I wish you all the success Team Troubadour!

They have comfortable family rooms with a kitchenette ( and with a door between bedrooms, so you can expect some privacy) and excellent SPA complex. Fair price, tasty breakfast and dinner. We come to this hotel not the first time, because it offers really good price with thermal SPA included, and they improve rooms by making some renovations. Very clean. There is a big free of charge parking in a few minutes walking distance, Cauterets town by itself is charming and cozy. There is a supermarket in a few minutes, bistro with pizza and a market with some food made-to-go, so You have plenty of options. The funicular is also very close to the hotel, so there is always a choice of activities. What I really love is their SPA, it is not that big, but very cozy and well equipped. They also have good quality toiletries in their SPA.

Toulouse is the fourth largest city in France, but the city centre is compact and easy to walk around. There is a metro for longer journeys. There are many great places to eat. There is a lot to see in the city centre and the Canal de Midi and the River Garonne are great places to walk. The key advantage of Toulouse is that it is an excellent centre to explore other towns and cities such as Albi, Carcasonne, Foix and Narbonne some of the cities on the coast. The train service from Toulouse is excellent. The Occcitanie regional government have a rail pass for the whole region which works out at 10 euros per day. Just research Occitanie Rail Pass online. Toulouse is an interesting and attractive city, but it is also a good travel hub.

This was not my first trip to Lourdes and I found the destination to be rather pricy. Food is terribly expensive, like a portion of dessert is 9e. The destination only offers the religious aspect unless you leave Lourdes to visit the mountains. The Marian Sanctuary has many ongoing events but one needs to organise oneself, because 100s of people are there.

Great little quaint hotel, absolutely charming. Walk across the street, you have a little church worth seeing. You can see the castle from the little plaza next to the restaurant. Within walking distance to the castle. Everything there was enchanting. The hosts were perfectly welcoming, friendly, helpful. DO NOT MISS the breakfast. It is well worth it. Good local products, ham, eggs. Pains et croissants bien croustillants. Highly recommend!!
