Friendly helpful staff. Superb facilities. Great room, spacious, spotless - opened March 2024 so brand new and looked it. Loved the decor. Bathroom super, shower we wonderful, bed very comfortable, efficient air con. Kettle in room - hooray! Complimentary drinks in most public spaces. Lovely pool. Didn't use the spa. Nice meal in garden restaurant - pork confit was delicious. Breakfast superb with lots of choice including fresh apricots apples and peaches as well as fruit salad. A really super place at a great price.

For my adult daughter and I Le Troubadoure was a pre-planned stop on our trip from Germany to the Algarve, Portugal. We loved the secure parking and the ease of the location. The place is extraordinary and in itself is worth a stay. Everything was clean and welcoming. Matthieu was super professional and his care for the guests is tangible in every small gesture; one can only commend the way he treated us, commend him for his level of motivation, friendliness and expertise. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the doors until the moment we left. I will definitely recommend Le Troubadoure to friends and family.

We’ve never stayed at a hotel and felt so eager to return. We were treated like family and had a truly enjoyable stay. Our room was spotless, quiet, and provided a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast was outstanding—full of variety and perfectly prepared. The best we’d had our entire journey! The hosts went above and beyond, and nothing was too much trouble. We’ve only been there for 2 nights but the room was cozy and the bed comfortable. The best thing in my opinion was the water fountain and bottles you could use and refill whenever you need, just in front of you door. Being able to prepare hot, cold or sparkly water is just amazing !

    We were only there for 24 hours, but it's a pretty city with lots to explore. We found a couple of walking tours online and combined them to fit the time we had, but managed to see lots of interest in the city centre. It was a perfect stop-over for us between Paris and Carcassonne.

    Religious touristy to the max. But, honestly- isn’t that why you go there? Quaint French town, easily walkable. Many fine eating places: particularly recommend the Asian/Filipino Restaurant. Need taxi for airport/train.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing and too expensive for what it was. Good place to stay if you have an early morning flight out of Toulouse.

    The hotel is set off a road and once you enter, it is quiet...

    The hotel is set off a road and once you enter, it is quiet and tranquil. The staff are very discreet and the service is excellent. We had room 16 which had a private balcony overlooking the river Tarn. The room was large, very comfortable and the view was beautiful. The Air Conditioning was weak but we opened the door and the balcony and the through draft cooled the room in the evenings. As we were having a heat wave, the cool breeze in the evenings lasting through to the morning was delightful. The meals are delicious and the service again is excellent. Breakfast is equally good with excellent coffee. It should be noted that we have an electric car and the staff went out of the way to ensure we could charge it.

    Montauban is a very attractive town with its own character and atmosphere. It is easy to walk around. The Ingres/Bourdelle Museum is superb - especially the room with the Ingres drawings. A lovely place for a stay.

    This town is a gem - the real France and away from the tourist beat. Its cathedral is unique and exceptionally old. A little French is a help here. Very good and inexpensive restaurants. Take the Little tour train for a great orientation.

    People were very friendly. We found a great little restaurant thanks to asking a local barman who recommended it. Wished we stayed longer so that we could explore more on our road trip. Definitely worth another visit.

    I have visited Tarbes 3 times , this was in order to participate in the annual Tango Festival, this takes place during August. Whilst Tarbes is a pleasant enough town, I'm not sure that I would want to spend too much time there otherwise.

    Great little quaint hotel, absolutely charming. Walk across the street, you have a little church worth seeing. You can see the castle from the little plaza next to the restaurant. Within walking distance to the castle. Everything there was enchanting. The hosts were perfectly welcoming, friendly, helpful. DO NOT MISS the breakfast. It is well worth it. Good local products, ham, eggs. Pains et croissants bien croustillants. Highly recommend!!
