- From US$131.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 922 reviewsThis property is only 3* however the fittings and service are of much higher standard. We stayed only 1 night on the way from south of France back home to north, so location not too far from the main highway was the main reason we selected to stay here. Staff are super nice and went out of their way to assist. Dogs are welcome. Property is lovingly renovated and managed, with beautiful surrounding greenery. We had a large super comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Property doesn't have dinner service, but they pro-actively informed us and reserved available restaurant in the area, which was really nice experience too. There is plenty of free parking which is always a bonus, when travelling with fully loaded car. There are few wine stores in the village and overall the vineyards vista around is just gorgeous. Loved our stay and will come again.Guest review byADRIANANetherlands

The superb food and fine dining. Very welcoming towards dogs as well and you may even bring acwell-behaved dog to the restaurant/bar. Visited during November, so not really outdoor weather, however the garden and pool looked great. Good parking facilities. The Breakfast had many delicious options to choose between.Guest review byLouiseDenmark
- From US$527.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsNothing to fault. We have been coming to this hotel for more than 30 years, for the location on the main square of Puligny-Montrachet, warm atmosphere and good food. All those ingredients are still there, now upgraded by the COMO group. It’s not cheap, but worth it. Comfortable and beautiful room, great breakfast and dinnerGuest review byMarionBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 338 reviewsMy husband and I loved our stay at the Chateau de Gilly. The Chateau is very beautiful and close to other attractions in Burgundy like the Clos de Vougeot and Maison Moillard. We thought the stay was very well-priced and loved the selection of food for breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended.Guest review byAleksandraCanada

I like the small town vibe which is a relaxing trip. Follow the owl trail to see all the important sights. Bonus is that we went to 3 wonderful museums for free. How generous of Dijon to offer that to all! You can walk everywhere in the center. Try the different Dijon mustard.Guest review byVangieUnited States - 8.0

We arrived in Beaune at 5pm on day 1 and stayed there for 3 nights, Day 2 we did a morning wine tasting in and spent the rest of the day in Dijon. Day 3 we had a whole day in Beaune which is probably enough to explore the grand 'Hospices De Beaune' (to do this probperly can take a whole morning as there is lots to learn about the history of the building) and walk around the cobbled streetsGuest review byNicki56United Kingdom - 10.0

We stop in Nuits St Georges on drives from UK to South of France. Its perfectly mid way, great location from the motorway and has plenty to offer. The town center has been updated since our last trip and the mix of traditional architecture and modern stone and fountains in the center of town work well together. There are a number of bars and we sat at a really great bar with a fabulous vibe drinking great draught beer and people watching. After the long drive from Calais to Nuits St George we decided to skip a restaurant and hit the local Carrefour supermarket for wine and picnic items, but, in the past we've eaten at local restaurants and there are plenty to chose from. Great place to stop, relax and rewind for the onward journey.Guest review byTina & DellFrance - 10.0

Loved that the breakfast was buffet as I had a hungry toddler with me. The fact that you can choose when to have your room cleaned was superb. Supermarket and bus stop few minutes away which was so convenient. How they have a 24hr machine to check you in even at 3am (my flight was delayed had no issues getting into my room) which was a big bonus!👍🏾Guest review byAwaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Mersault was a cosy and charming little village in the heart of Bourgogne wine area. You can taste wines in numerous wine shops and domaines. We had dinner in an excellent restaurant Au Fil du Clos. We overnighted in a very charming privet-owned hotel/B&B Charles V.Guest review byRiikkaFinland - 8.0

I was en route between the south of France and the UK and Dijon was a convenient stop over. I found the hotel on the Booking.com website and it fitted my needs for a room and a meal after a long drive. It is a few kilometres from the centre of Dijon but on a main road to the city. The staff at reception and the restaurant made me feel welcome and the room was clean and well presented as were the public areas. I had a quiet and comfortable night's sleep in spite of it being at the time of the July heatwave. The facility was as described, it is not fancy but was more than adequate for my purposes.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A lovely little village, with bars for drinks and snacks and a restaurant. Great cave with a very knowledgeable man (and lots of stuffed animals in the cellars, which was a bit weird but interesting). There was also a very good wine shop, again with a very knowledgeable man, who knew about all the different wines he sold. The tourist information office is great, the staff were incredibly friendly and spoke very good English. They also had some lovely gifts. Lovely to wander around, very quiet and tranquil (and obviously home to some incredible wines!)Guest review bySerenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is superb wine country. The village is delightful, very quiet, not much to visit but then you should be here for the wine. The hotel was our little bit of luxury towards the end of a two week trip and it surpassed our expectations. The restaurant is a gem in its own right and the wine tasting facilities very enjoyable.Guest review byRaymondUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Lovely clean city can walk everywhere.
Lovely clean city can walk everywhere. Not much to see after 3 days at most unless you're filming a medieval period film or have to work or study. I say take a a late night walk through the city with the open empty pedestrian streets and no humans around. Quite impressive. But nah..not much else. Good afternoon stopover. Furthermore Dijon needs to let go of their co-dependent relationship with mustard. The seeds are no longer grown there. :) They are imported.Guest review byLaurieFrance - 10.0

Considered staying in Dijon, but happy to have chosen Beaune. Beaune doesn’t have the bigger city feel like Dijon, which was exactly what we were looking for. Easy access to many wineries without struggling with city traffic.Guest review byFrankUnited States
