Lovely modern, comfortable, and quiet hotel that we have previously stayed at several times before. Excellent boulangerie and wine shop next door, as well as several resturants and McDonalds. Good breakfast. Much better than present twice the price 4 star Novatel in Bordeaux that has no breakfast. Many lovely beaches to visit nearby.

We spent one night here on our way to Bordeaux. It was the perfect place for that. The room was very spacious and fully equipped. The parking was really easy and despite being close to bigger roads, it was very quiet. The breakfast was amazing!

    Special place to stay! Little paradise! The way how we were welcomed was amazing by a very, very pleasant, friendly young talented man!! The whole staff was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere and furniture in a kind of chic Caribbean style fitting in the landscape! Dinner and supporting wines were very good. Breakfast again in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff very good. Could sit outside and inside. Again the staff helpful, friendly. The staff found my phone. Everything was good!! we did not had time for the spa, that is for our next visit!

Amazing Spa, had very good massage and chilled in the pool, sauna and steam room Right nest to the Lake, views are so good, 3 minute walk to Culs Nuls beach next door to the mighty La Graviere, best peak on the beach in Hossegor, for a surfer and non surfer couple this hotel was epic.     Loved the old town, the markets, easy access to the Promenade des Anglais, huge choice of restaurants, great atmosphere, so easy to travel around by bus along the Riviera coast road. Tram was excellent to and from the airport. Weather and sunsets stunning.

    Good restaurants very close by, Bordeaux Station SNCF on the other side of the road. I was on my way home to the Pyrenees from the Philippines. I wanted to arrive home in the light (day time). So I opted stop there and continue the next day as there is no electricity at my house. The hotel was a little rundown but it was clean, staff welcoming, double bed, good breakfast, after 24 hours travel I just needed to sleep. 100 euros seemed expensive but the location was good and maybe prices have increased since I was in France last.

    Toulouse cafe culture is wonderful.

    Toulouse cafe culture is wonderful. The architecture is also stunning. The old town streets and alleys are a joy to walk in, as is the Garonne riverside. We loved eating in the restaurants in Place Saint-George and the Place du Capitole. The basilica and the Couvent des Jacobins are stunning architecture and history. Everything in the old town is easy walking distance, mainly on the level. The train station is also walking distance for trips out of town, for example Carcassonne.

    An extreme place - a bit unreal for the average person but a must see. Wealth there is astonishing. Immense range of restaurant options. Full of beautiful places, yachts, cars and people. Would recommend to go at least once. Very similar to Monte Carlo

    Lots of wonderful monuments and historical buildings to visit. Transport system excellent once you have got used to it. Clean and comfortable. A multitude of cafes to choose from. A vibrant city with lots of young people but no trouble. A lot of dog waste though unfortunately.

    We were travelling round France so only stayed two days in Aix. It is excellent for culture and there was a wonderful Cezanne exhibition while we were there. Plenty to see and do in the town. However, it was extremely busy while we were there. Perhaps a bit too busy. This may have been due to the Cezanne exhibition which was very popular or the fact that we were there at the weekend. It is definitely a town worth visiting though.

    Carcasssonne is magnificent.

    Carcasssonne is magnificent. The castle, ramparts and buildings are outstanding. But beware, its a typical tourist trap. 100's of restaurants all selling cassoulet. Lots of shops selling souvenirs, clothes and local goodies.

    Lourdes is a sanctuary that people go mainly to worship and pray. We had dinner and breakfasts at Hotel Alba and lunch from a near by bistro or restaurant. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with minimum distractions.
