We had the most beautiful stay! It’s a little hidden gem. Only rated as a 2 stars but it’s way better than some 4 stars we have stayed in and I believe it exceeded a 3 star. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way when we needed help on the day of checkout! We will 100% chose to stay here again! Thank you ☺️

Lovely old hotel but what really made it “grand” was the staff. It is very well staffed so that there was ALWAYS someone to meet any need. Whether in the dining room or attending to our room, they could not do enough for us! And the breakfast was amazing!

I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing time in Jersey at the Pomme d'Or. Its situation so close to the bus station is so convenient for travelling. My room as always clean and tidy thanks to Narvil's work. I could not find any faults with the room. I had requested a "quiet" room and 328 was ideal. All the staff were efficient and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was well arranged and the food excellent.

We got given a beautiful sea view room as it was last minute booking and we had some difficulties with our flights. The view was absolutely stunning! The staff was extremely friendly and the dinner in the restaurant was fabulous not to even mention breakfast… Guys, if you are breakfast lovers that’s definitely place to stay. All on order from the breakfast menu, everything freshly cooked, massive portions and even breakfast itself deserves Michelin star, compliments to the chef! Would highly recommend!

I was last there in 1971.

I was last there in 1971. It has been taken over by too many yuppie and banking types, but this is true of most tourist resorts. This forces up prices for everyone, including the locals, many of whom are forced to move out - just like the UK.

An interesting capital of a small island.

An interesting capital of a small island. The land rises steeply from the harbour. A useful selection of shops which are on mainly level ground. Excellent bus services across the Island for £1.60 per journey or buy a card for £4 (covers more than one person) and tickets then cost £1.15 per person. Buses stop about 8pm so need a taxi to return to your out of town hotel. Sea trips to Herm, Sark or Jersey from the harbour

It’s a great place for families who love beach holidays. It’s also great for those interested in history with all the occupation places to visit. There are plenty of good places to eat. We when to Crabby Jacks which has a varied menu. The local kiosks are also great places for a snack. It’s easy to get around either by car or public transport which is very regular. Lots of different eateries . We enjoyed food at The Salty Dog and also from The old Court House. Both restaurants were good value. There is another place The Boathouse and Anchor which is on the harbour. If you want a loud bustling atmosphere stay downstairs, For a pure dining experience go upstairs. The harbour itself is full of boats and quite pretty. Walking is for the most part on the flat. The boardwalk along the beach is pretty but watch out for bikes.

The area of St Clements is lovely, great sandy beaches with free parking and clean public conveniences, and a few lovely pubs to eat at. Small supermarkets (Morrisons and Co-op) are also around and are open late. Easy access to the rest of the island without going through St Helier, if driving, and frequent buses to St Helier or Grouville.

Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre, tucked away at the end of the island. I love the location of the peninsula hotel facing the ocean, the sun rise is amazing in the early hours of the morning all golden really beautiful. Going to the town centre you need a bus , it runs hourly week day and 2hourly week end. Taxis are hard to come bye and expensive, book with the hotel 24rs pre. The food in the hotel is nice but a bit pricey you don't really have much choice no nearby restaurants.

We had the castle behind us and the harbour in front of us which we were able to see from our room. The castle was worth a visit and the harbour and sea coming in and out was pleasant to view with a glass in your hand. Easy access to all over the island,we like history so were able to see the war tunnels and museum. I think we were staying in the right place, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and other busy places.
