I visit Glasgow regularly as there's always things to do and see. Personally, I use the train a lot and find that I can quickly get out into the beautiful Scottish countryside easily and quickly. Glasgow spoils you for choice in terms of places to eat and drink. Whether it's typical pub food (with or without haggis) or Italian, Japanese, Korean, Indian, you'll definitely find a good quality and reasonably priced place to eat and drink. Check out the art galleries, museums and cultural hotspots and you won't be disappointed, even if the grey weather can make things look a bit tired. You never know, you might get some sunshine!Guest review byRory FlynnUnited Kingdom - 4.0
The lobby area was great. Loved the decor!
The lobby area was great. Loved the decor! I loved all the seating areas. Loved the bar and coffee stations. The rooms were bad. The carpeting was taped up with electrical tape. The shower curtain had mold on it. The body wash dispenser was not filled. It was empty. One of the lightbulbs was out. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. It seemed like the lobby area did not belong to the same hotel as the bedrooms. Did love the convenience of walking to our early flight.Guest review byJosieUnited States - 10.0

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...Guest review byTownsley - 8.0

Good parking and good local facilities - local church, nearby restaurant, and, should you need it, a large supermarket. The room faced the road but there was no road noise whatsoever! Good room decor and clean - but a cheeky spider lurking in the bed gave my wife a fright!Guest review byLESZEKUnited Kingdom - 10.0

As a Scot I know Drymen well, also Buchanan Castle Estate where I was a member at the golf club. In 1986 we transferred to Australia due to my employer. I am pleased to say that not much has changed since thenGuest review byJamesAustralia - 4.0
The room was very run down.
The room was very run down. Not worth the money I paid for it. If you are looking for a bit of luxury, go elsewhere. The spa is also shut at the moment. Walking to the restaurant for breakfast I saw a lot of water damage in the corridors as well. I think the whole hotel needs a revamp and I wouldn’t recommend a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It was a lovely wee gem of a hotel and brilliant value for money. Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. All the staff I had the pleasure of dealing with very friendly and efficient. They have a huge choice of food, a bar and smoking area and sun garden. As well as restaurant. Brilliant value for money and also easy to park. I didn’t notice much noise at all in the rooms and it was a Saturday night. I will deefinitelt be backGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This was a great stopover on our tour of Scotland.
This was a great stopover on our tour of Scotland. Our room was fantastic. Very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed for several days. We didn’t do activities as time was short for us. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty to choose from.Guest review byJaneAustralia
