Location was great. Old pub with great charm and fabulous cocktails. Unfortunately our car broke down so we got in very late and missed the kitchen for dinner but the publican allowed us to bring takeaway into the front bar to eat with our drinks.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Redgarth. The owner, Mr Stuart, goes that extra mile to make you feel at home. No complaints about the room. It was big and well appointed. We had a beautiful view over the Bennachie hills. The Redgarth is also a pub frequented by the locals and the food is very good and most ingredients are locally sourced. The fish and chips they serve was excellent. Breakfast is continental style with fresh fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and bread and some pastries. Special mention for the very helpful staff.

Friendly, helpful staff, dinner was exceptional definitely a 1st class bistro. Bedrooms were very spacious, cozy and decor was Imaginately designed, good view of sea and harbour, only downside was no lift as I am disabled but overall we enjoyed our stay ❤️

    Had never been to Aberdeen, short stay so didn't get to do a lot but enjoyed and would definitely visit again. Great shopping at Union Square. Stayed at Sandman Hotel, excellent and great location.

    Hotel was clean, staff were amazingly helpful, food was great and room was big. Heres even a gym and swimming pool. Food in the bar was good and affordable, good portions. Could get a taxi with ease and the bus route to Aberdeen was easy.

    The hotel was excellent lovely accommodation, delicious meals. The staff couldn't do enough for us. My husband played golf in Lossiemouth at the Moray Golf Club it was a fabulous course. What a lovely experience. We then visited the famous whisky shop in Elgin and purchased a lovely bottle to take home to the UK.

    I was up for football but I stayed over the evening before...

    I was up for football but I stayed over the evening before to not have 6 hours of driving in one day. I am glad I did as I was able to visit the Peterhead Prison Museum. It is well worth a visit and very interesting.

    Stonehaven is a lovely town with good transport links to the surrounding area. There are a variety of shops and places to eat with something for everyone. As regular visitors to Stonehaven we always eat at our favourite Indian restaurant, Carron to Mumbai. The art deco restaurant is beautiful and the food is exceptional. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome. I would recommend a visit.

    Lossiemouth has fantastic beaches and cliff walks.

    Lossiemouth has fantastic beaches and cliff walks. Harbour Lights cafe great for lunches and coffees, Catch 79 restaurant is excellent if more expensive but worth it, booking essential. It’s always wise to check opening times of places if you’re going out of the summer season, even the Deli and bakers as they’re not open all the time.

    Forres is a lovely friendly town. It has lots of shops to browse. Grants parks amazing for children and any 4 legged friends. Chimes is a Great coffee shop. There was lots going on within the town with it being Remembrance Sunday.

    A beautiful setting with the river running past.

    A beautiful setting with the river running past. However our room facing the entrance and carpark made it very difficult to relax.Guests gather at the entrance and late at night it is very difficult to sleep. The staff were wonderful and helped us find alternative accommodation in the town . It is a shame we were not told about a wedding party so we could have made a choice whether to stay rather than listen to the celebrations which we fully understand would always be noisy.
