- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 494 reviewsThe atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!Guest review byRebecca-leeAustralia

I've been to Inverness before and always enjoyed the atmosphere in this city. If you want to experience more of the Highlands, book your tours ahead of time. Whatever tour you book, it's always worth it. The scenery is extraordinary and listen to the locals: their accent gives you a very special feeling during your stay. That is priceless.Guest review byKlausGermany - 10.0

The Clan MacDuff hotel really made my stay in Fort William. It was so welcoming and comfortable I really didn't want to leave. The town of Fort William was small but the people I spoke to were always helpful.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love this neck of the woods.
I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A lovely, quiet quaint village. Friendly people with a plethora of great restaurants to choose from. Lots of activities around Skye. Our favorites were Quiraing Hike, Brothers Point, Waternish Coastal Walk, Stein Inn for food while we were between hikes.Guest review byBebbington - 10.0

The town had done a lot to make the waterfront a nice place to walk and take in the views. The paving, seating and lighting were well done. We made sure that we booked for dinner because even in October there were many people around.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
