- From US$120.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 537 reviewsIf you would like to stay in a traditional, cosy pub near Cambridge, this is the place. The house dates back to the 15th century and is now lovingly run by a young family. The rooms are comfortable and the food, especially the English breakfast, is also very good. A much better alternative to an expensive, modern hotel in the city. You can park right outside the door.Guest review byMartinGermany

Huntingdon has a lovely little Saturday market with vegan options, there are plenty of shops to walk around and all the usual outlets eg B&Q, Dunhelm, Pets at Home -very useful for us a few mins by car. There is a park in the centre of the town and a dog walking area. I think it is quite flat, no hills, so walking is not a problem and there is a good pedestrian area with lots of cafes in which to sit and watch the world go by. It is 8+ miles to St Neots, a beautiful little town with the river running through it. Perfect for a visit.Guest review byGaby - 6.0

Gone down-hill in the last few years and no decent shops.
Gone down-hill in the last few years and no decent shops. As with most small towns, completely overtaken with charity shops, vape shops and barbers.....a real shame as we used to love a stroll into the townGuest review byALEXANDERUnited Kingdom - 10
Clean. Spacious room overlooking barley fields.
Clean. Spacious room overlooking barley fields. Friendly staff and a tasty breakfast buffet that was all a traveller would need. Excellent value and good to know the Old Great North Road =B1043 which is clue how to get there! We ate authentic Indian cuisine at the Resto next door and took good Value diesel at the 24/7 pumps also next door.Guest review byMrs L LUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Quirky hotel 500 years old.
Quirky hotel 500 years old. Locality - central to village- close to Grantham water and Buckden Towers. Basic room. The hotel requires an upgrade but its architecture is great. The plumbing is a challenge. Overall I enjoyed my stay.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We liked the spacious accommodation, it's cleanliness and situation, its modern kitchen and eqipment. Ideal for a short stay. The addition of a freezer would have been appreciated. All in all this was very good value for money in a well maintained property.Guest review byLawrieUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Reception and booking in was very pleasant and efficient.
Reception and booking in was very pleasant and efficient. The room was warm. The bar and evening meal staff were great. The evening meals were really good and they had a nice beer on draught. The shower was too hot or cold; no in-between. The walls are paper thin, meaning I could hear phone calls, taps and toilet visits of next door rooms during the night. Windows and curtains are basic, so I heard people walking past from early morning. Breakfast was lovely.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Both the pub and the above rooms are brand new, spacious and created using the iconic British interior design. Large bathroom with a bath tub and shower very practical, bright and comfortable. The room has everything you need even an iron board and a super coffee machine. The bed is large and the matrass was brand new when I stayed there and I slept very deeply after a good warm bath.. I will definitely recommend it!Guest review byDaniel BalzarpttiUnited Kingdom - 10

Simon & Linda were charming and welcoming, interested in what I had planned, and how my days had gone. The garden and surrounding views were beautiful, with a nice little walk into the village, where there was a lovely church and pub.Guest review byPaulineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A sleepy, tiny "one pub" village deep in rural Cambridgeshire. Ideal if you just want to chill-out with a pint in the Stag pub (doesn't open on Sundays). There's no other shops there.Guest review byJOHNUnited Kingdom
