This was a great hotel, the building at start might not looked outstanding, but it really represents what the docks are and you quickly begin to love the design, the red brick style, you will realize how awesome the construction really is. Location(could easily walk to sights/activities), but was in a relatively quiet area. Found the property to be fresh and clean. We chose a small room as it suited our needs but were surprised how it was so well organized and appointed. In addition to a fridge, there were some plates, glasses and cutlery as well as coffee and tea. Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. We even received a thank you card from the staff. Nice touch. My spouse was awake early so went to lobby. Although no coffee there, they got him one.

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, and we received a warm and welcoming greeting. Our room was tidy, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary scarf for the game. The location is outstanding—much closer to the stadium than I had expected. Both Mike and Anthony were extremely supportive and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Anfield; you will not be disappointed. It was truly a unique experience, and I will certainly choose to stay here again whenever I return to Liverpool

The staff were really really welcoming and friendly, and the space was perfect for our group. Having the night security was really great too for people coming home at different times. The TV/sound bar, number of mirrors, and seating in the living room were all really great that you don't always find in apartments.

    Mathew street is just fab!

Mathew street is just fab! The White Star pub was just a fabulous old pub with great memorabilia in it. Service great. Cavern Club was fab too. Philharmonic Hall a great venue to watch a show! The pub aptly named The Philharmonic across the road is truly amazing! These pubs have great ales on the pump. Also the docks are a great place to visit. The Pump house offers good food. Service great.

If you like walking, Southport is a feast for your feet!

If you like walking, Southport is a feast for your feet! Lots to do for all ages and interests. Theatre, cinema, shops, proper shopping centre and the more quaint diverse shops. Sea front is wonderful for kids and plenty of parks to just roam in. If you walk west a bit, there's a fabulous little train track for little and big kids (think adults). Only a short ride but stacks of fun. If you like social history too, just stop and look at the wonderful architecture and old big houses that shout of more wealthy times when Liverpool industrialists had their summer homes here. I went round the museum and the kids were loving it. Not an expensive place to visit...a little goldmine of charm for all ages!

Got there on the Sunday evening to find that the TV was not connected, tried to connect and the TV nearly fell off the brackets supporting it. Contacted the number given and was told someone would ring me back still waiting. Can back on the Monday to find not only was the TV not working I also had no electricity. Phoned again and again told someone would connect me (Still waiting of that call as well). Had to throw out the food I had brought and could not even have a shower. Would not use again if the last place in St Helens

We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective than 2 nights in similar accommodation in Liverpool. We were down for the Everton Man City game. Unfortunately neither of us drive and as buses don't Service the hotel at the weekend meant we had to rely on taxis. For anyone who drives the location is not a problem though. Visited a few of the local hostelries. Copperpot, Derby Arms and Vikings Landing all were very friendly places with good service. Prices for drinks are favourable compared to other cities.

Heswall is a friendly little town, with a good selection of small shops and eateries. Please do visit the book shop! From the outside it looks like any other shop, but step inside and you will be bowled over with what's on offer, which even includes a cafe. Heswall offers easy access to other destinations on The Wirrall, including the delightful West Kirby. It is a great spot to explore places further afield, such as North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.

Very clean . Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable. Not very warm especially dining room had to eat evening meal with coats on . Evening bar staff refused us a cup of coffee having already had one and then sent another person to their room to make one in their room and bring it back to their company sitting in the bar . And they were elderly. So not very good . Bar could of stayed open a little longer .... admittedly it was about 10.30pm but when you have been out and you need a nightcap in hotel even if just a cuppa not good .
