Very nice accomodation with a busy restaurant (at evenings) but very tasty local cuisine. Our room was spacious, enough for a 2+2 family. The owner and all staff was very nice, there is a small "farm" with a children playground - appreciated. Breakfasts were nice and tasty.

The room was great. It was comfortable, bigger than we expected, and beautiful. The location was great as well. The staff were really kind and helpful. We had a great time staying at this hotel specially after our hike. Would love to stay there again someday.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the exceptional restaurant (listed in the Michelin Guide, which speaks for itself) and the beautiful Sunday roast I enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Derbyshire!

The easy hotels offers super affordable clean accomodations, good bed, private toilet and shower, TV and very friendly staff. What they do is cut the cost where possible and pass on the savings to you customer. What you won't find is spacious room or tea coffee in the room but what you will find is brilliant price and friendly staff. Definitely will be staying again and looking for them in different locations.

The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it. I love the place, it carries on to deliver more each time I visit. The university somewhat dominates with modern architecture, but there are a veritable feast of architectural delights... Town Hall and the most extra lovely theatre, next to a Wetherspoons, such is the dichotomy of Sheffield... Clearly a city on the move, pubs and places to 'eat' out are every where as is night time entertainment venues. I doubt I will ever tire of visiting the place...

Chesterfield is close to lots of other beautiful towns and villages and of course the fantastic scenery. very good location for visiting a lot of areas in short distances of area. it was easy to get around and several good places to eat out as well as lots of fish and chip shops. We took our children to Gulliver's Kingdom which the 3-year-old loved, Heights of Abraham Buxton, Carsington water and Alton Towers, all within 30 mins travel. Local attraction 5 - 10 mins. Lovely little shops and a great book shop which was lovely with a little cafe in it. We also bought some lovely chocolate in a chocolatier and could see chocolates being hand made.

Tuesday, when we arrived, everything is closed in the evening. We couldn't find a restaurant to eat in, a lot of the pubs were closed early as it was late in the season, the ones open were full. Beautiful place though, loved it. It seemed a very safe place to wander about and everyone was very friendly. My daughter and I looked like the only ones without at least one dog. Try Bakewell pudding.

Castleton being in the centre of the Derbyshire Dales it is surrounded by beatiful sceanery and offers many walks and caving experiences. Within the town there are many pubs and restaraunts offering a very good selection of drinks and food, many are dog freindly. With being compact it was easy to get around. Very near by there are other interesting towns to eplore namely Bakewell, Crich (tram museum) Matlock and the Heights Of Abraham.

To be fair it isn't in Stockport.

To be fair it isn't in Stockport. It in a beautiful rural location with fabulous views of green countryside with a charming vista of Manchester in the distance. Yes it was! In my view ! Lol. For us it was a little out of the way mainly because I'm increasingly stressed by driving but in normal circumstances it's nice and quiet. We ate in Glossop at Napolis which was fab last time we went but this time it wasn't great! Had a great ready meal from sainsbury in New Mills! Lots of good walks and paths. Binge Watched Riot women on the big screen! We don't have a TV.
