    Everything was super nice! ❤️ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mariinsky Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - located in the old part of Batumi with easy access to all the attractions. The facilities are top. Everything was maintained and offered a level of comfort that truly enhanced my stay. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when traveling, and I was impressed by the immaculate condition of our room and all the public areas of the hotel. It's evident that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. The variety of options available, the quality of the food was outstanding, and it provided the perfect start to each day of my stay. Overall, I cannot recommend Mariinsky Hotel highly enough. If you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay, look no further. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Batumi.

    The room was equipped with everything one may need during her stay and more :) The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel has a great location in the middle of the old part of Batumi, great restaurants, walking streets and shops are nearby. I am quite impressed by this Hotel, did not expect such comfort and luxury.

    The staff upgraded me on arrival to the executive suite, the best room they had! They were really accommodating to my needs and took care of me like I was royalty! For this price I paid, I got a heavenly treatment, whereas in other countries for the same price I would get a 3star hotel room with no breakfast even included.

    Much more interesting than expected -- so much better than a typical boring resort town. It's a real city, with a beautiful and quite interesting old town, lots of pretty open areas, and the gritty main part of town away from water is also interesting for urban exploration. There are enough things to do in town as well. The sea shore is beautiful and very long. Water is crystal clear on calm days. It's a rocky beach, which I prefer to sand. Food is great, people are very friendly. It doesn't get nearly as crowded on the beach as in a typical resort town (despite hundreds of hotels along the shore), perhaps because the sea shore in the main part of town is so long (about 4 miles / 6 km of beaches, in my estimation)

    I’ve been traveling to Kobuleti for several years in a row. I really like the mix of resort vibes, plenty of cafés and restaurants with good food, and the fairly clean sea. The sunsets are stunning, and the promenade is long and beautiful. Away from the center, you can find the Kobuleti wetlands – a beautiful green area with a landscape unusual for Georgia (there are ferns and white moss). It’s a bit uncomfortable to walk out of the water on the pebbles, but that’s manageable. I really love this resort!

    Kvariati is a small, peaceful town (but still developing), with a small number of small shops and restaurants, where prices cannot be called low. The beach is with small pebbles, it would be good to have special beach shoes. The sea was not very calm and transparent when we were there.

    Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach! There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

    If you want to get away from the crowds and noise of Batumi, this is your place. Marshrutkas/buses come by regularly to and from Batumi, but the traffic there makes the ride about 30 minutes. Both the national park and botanical gardens are in Chakvi.

    Not much to see in the town, but it's a good base for exploring upper Adjara. We were there in March, which had snow and rain, so perhaps it's more charming in the summer months. Plenty of basic services in town as well.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects. He mentioned that he speaks 3 languages and literally he told me that he doesn’t speak English. His friend guest in the place smoke everywhere and he doesn’t hold himself from doing gas in the hallway or in the kitche. The cigarettes smell are everywhere. I spent 2 months and 24 days and the host rejected to change my sheets or the bed set. Keep an eye on them just to stay safe.

    Honestly, everything was amazing. Gorgeous views, super-comfy cottage, great service, and a lovely jacuzzi. The whole area is a photo dream, and the nature is just wow. Go once and you’ll definitely want to come back.

    Lovely city with a real mix of very new/modern, mixed with old/run down buildings. A lot of ongoing construction. Plenty of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes. Most of the city we saw was very clean, nice bikeways along the beach walkway. Plenty of things to visit.
