The property is located on a small alley very close to a very nice beach. It is off Main street with plenty of restaurants and shops but not noisy at all. I stayed in a front room with balcony perfect for solo traveller. What you see in the pictures is at it is. The alley has lots of bungavillias., and the walk to the beach is nice. Panagiotta, the owner is very nice lady, accomodating and speaks English very well. The hotel does not offer breakfast but you are steps away from to grab coffee and food. The rrom has a refrigerator so you can buy drinks and food and keep them fresh.

Degatas is wonderful. Truly one of favorite stays of all time. The property itself is stunning, with incredible views of Antiparos and Paros - we spent many nights hanging out in our little terrace. And the rooms are spotless! Location wise, it's a very close to drive to town, not even 5 minutes (you could walk if you're up for it but the place is uphill). Nothing that we wanted to see was more than 15 min drive from there, there's a grocery store 2 min away and gas stations right there as well. We went back and forth between staying in town or a bit outside and I'm so happy we stayed here. The exact serene/relaxing stay we were going for. To top it all off, Maria was amazing!!! She was so incredibly welcoming and wonderful, so helpful with recommendations for things to do and anything we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. I was obsessed with the view from our room and cannot wait to come back some day.
