The staff was very helpful, especially the woman as the front desk agent, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get. The facilities and rooms were very clean, which was the most important thing for me, and even for me the cleanliness was more than acceptable (which is huge). Housekeeping was very quick and operative, I think they even attended the room twice a day. Everything was great, the air conditioning was working perfectly. Thank you!

The hotel is new, and the rooms are very clean and convenient. I had a bottle of wine, fruits and loukoum at my arrival in the room, a very generous and thoughtful gesture. The staff are very smiley and helpful, they made my stay very comfortable and accommodated my needs in no time. I highly recommend this hotel!

I chose this hotel for its closeness to the port for our upcoming cruise and it was great value for the money!!! We ended up staying four nights here and were really happy that we chose to stay here instead of in town. It cost 10 Euros to get to the cruise port. The staff exceeded our expectations with their friendliness, assistance, conversation and genuine smiles. They made you feel valued and went out of their way to assist, advise and chat. The reception staff spoke excellent English - special mention to Nagia, Anna and Adonis in reception and especially Vagelis who made us feel valued. They are excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Even the cleaning lady had fun banter and we enjoyed our stay here. The area surprised us with the many eating options, whether for a coffee, snacks or dining. Even a 24 hour bakery. The hotel has a good breakfast and a fantastic restaurant attached where we dined our first evening. A good ten minute walk to the bus stop of the Athens Hop On Hop Off Bus as well. We bought a 48 hour ticket so one day we did the Athens city tour, and the next day the Riviera tour. Nearby there is also shopping and a buzzing, cosmopolitan eating area along the water - which the staff would be happy to show you. The hotel has a lovely foyer and sitting area outside. It is a little oasis in the port of Piraeus and I happily recommend this property.

I stayed in the hostel. Besides sleeping with others, the cleanliness and whole experience was at nice hotel level. I felt like I got the hotel experience with hostel prices. They also have amazing communal spaces like in a hostel. There is a co-working space, a rooftop pool, and a kitchen. I would come back again anytime.

the location. 5 minutes to monastiraki square and metro. walking distance to all the attractions. the hotel located on a very nice street with a lot of restaurants. although the place is very crowded at night and for those who sleep early and prefer to keep the windows open it may be uncomfortable because of the noise. for me it was fine, we often got back late and there were many food options even at 12 at night or later. besides i felt absolutely safe walking late in that neighborhood. the room and the bathroom were very clean, beautifully decorated, new. we arrived late at night and checked in ourselves, the process was very clear and easy. in general it was the best accommodation during my trip. the price was very good for what we got (much better quality than even more expensive hotels in Italy).

If you're staying near the Acropolis, you're in the perfect...

If you're staying near the Acropolis, you're in the perfect spot—most major historical sites in Athens, including the Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Monastiraki, and Syntagma Square, are within easy walking distance and can be explored in a single day. For day trips outside Athens, the Peloponnese is your best bet. Destinations like Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplio are reachable within 1.5–2 hours and offer rich archaeological and cultural experiences. In contrast, places like Delphi or Meteora require longer travel times (over 3 hours one way), making them less ideal for a single-day outing. If you're short on time, it's often more rewarding to soak up Athens' vibrant neighborhoods and enjoy traditional Greek tavernas. The Monastiraki Flea Market has become highly tourist-oriented in recent years. While it still retains some charm, many of the original antique and vintage vendors have been replaced by stalls selling mass-produced souvenirs. It's worth a stroll, but manage your expectations. To escape the crowds, consider visiting the armored cruiser Georgios Averof, docked at Flisvos Marina. It's the only surviving ship of its class in the world and now serves as a floating naval museum. A hidden gem for history buffs, it offers a peaceful break from the city bustle. If you're planning a quick island getaway, skip the temptation to island-hop. Choose just one island and take a regular ferry for a more relaxed experience. Hydra is a standout choice: it's car-free, scenic, and known for its artistic vibe and famously friendly cats. While not the most remote island geographically, its lack of motor vehicles and slower pace make it feel like a true escape.

Great place to stay if after a cruise or before going on a cruise. They even pick you up or take you to the cruise port! The rooms are small but very nice, clean, great linens. Great shower with shower head, unlike many Greek places which only have hand held. Staff nice. Nicolas was fabulous helping me do anything I needed to get donw. Speaks perfect English and enjoys his job. Just walk out of the hotel and you are at the marina with lots of places to eat. Felt very safe there.

Awful experience.

Awful experience. My flight was delayed and I arrived around 1 AM. The host told me the booking was cancelled because it was late — but no one ever informed me about that. She hung up on me several times and offered no help. We were left outside in the rain with our luggage, had to take another taxi back to the airport, and ended up sleeping on the floor for seven hours. Still waiting for the refund she promised. Totally unacceptable.

The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport . We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens . The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port
