The property has an exceptional location looking down upon a beautiful Kastellorizo harbour. The house has a number of small spaces outside which suit different parts of the day. It is well catered for with a full kitchen and a dishwasher, washing machine and best of all 2 bathrooms. Great for a family! The house is a little quirky with lovely mosaic touches and drawings by the family. Most of all is very comfortable with good aircon, good water pressure and great bed mattresses. You will always remember the stunning views. Ps. There is a mini mart down the street.

Traditional outside, modern and clean inside. Had kettle to make tea or coffee, sandwich press to make toasted sandwiches. Front loader washing machine. Had stove top, pots and pan if you want to cook. Airconditioning. easy to get to restaurants, cafes and supermarket from apartment. Was quiet. Host Mihali was lovely. Sent us a message where to go to pick up keys, he even took us to the appartment with his car. I recomend Kastello to anyone who would like to stay at Kastellorizo.

Firstly Peter greeted us at a nearby restaurant and kindly walked us to the hotel. The Pensione is located a street behind the seaside main street. Very easy to access everything. The hotel has only been open a month so the facilities are excellent, great attention to detail and very clean. We even had a little kitchen space in our room with a sink, mini bar, glasses tea and coffee. Also beautiful restaurants a couple of steps away. Good wifi. Thankyou very a lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at To Pefko and would fully recommend it to other travellers. The property is virtually new and everything was spotlessly clean, well equipped, in a excellant state of repair and has a very comfortable bed. Similarly, Alex and Megalinda were the perfect hosts providing everything we could have wished for. In our opinion, the only thing we feel that travellers need to be aware of is that unlike all the other accommodations we had booked on our 5 weeks travelling through the Dodecanese, To Pefko currently doesn’t systematically meet people at the port and transfer them and their luggage to the property. As access is either via short sets of relatively steep steps and rough paths, (definitely not suitable for wheeling suitcases), or two longer but gentler road options which have a couple of steeper sections and also wouldn’t be ideal for pulling heavy luggage, you need to be travelling light or pretty fit when arriving & departing. Furthermore, we learnt the only taxi on the island does not meet guests at the ferry, (presumably because he would be overwhelmed by demand). However, as my wife had hurt her back, by chance I had messaged the ever-obliging Alex to find out what options existed for transferring our luggage to & from the port and he kindly found time to transfer us and our luggage in the bakery delivery van! For everyday access however between the port and the accommodation when not carrying luggage, access should not be a problem for anyone in normal health. Equally the supermarkets offer a delivery service so there is no problem on that front either. But the advantage that the location provides is that it is quiet, away from any noise from the port, in a spacious plot not troubled by noise from people/scooters passing though adjoining narrow alleyways. In summary, when visiting Kastellorizo in the future, we would return to To Pefko without hesitation and we wish Alex and Megalinda much well-deserved success!

The hosts Christina and Antonis were fantastic. Antonis has a hire boat which made it convenient to book excursions. Christina goes out of her way to help with anything required.

Nice and very relaxing, the notion of peak/off peak times is a foreign concept. People are friendly and great food by the water side. Good variety of restaurants that tempt you all the time and the locals are so friendly.

Megisti (Kastellorizo) is an ideal destination for relaxing holidays. The island is a hidden gem; it has crystal clear warm waters, welcoming locals and a tranquility that blows you away!! There are paths that you can take to Palaiokastro (unique place to watch the sunset) or St George of the Mountain, boats (daily cruises) to beaches which are approachable via sea only, and bars which guarantee a funny and enjoyable night!

A beautiful island for a perfect, chilled-out escape.

A beautiful island for a perfect, chilled-out escape. Very welcoming and warmth from the owners and workers of all establishments. We loved the visit to the blue cave and St George's Island and we also loved chilling in the small bay over the other side of the island away from the harbour. We ate a couple of times in the taverna at the top of the big white stairs next to the church. Very delicious traditional Greek cuisine with a lovely chilled vibe.
