The location was optimal, and the staff were amazing!! The Manager of the hotel was phenomenal. So resourceful and kind! The room was so clean, and all the furniture fixtures were high end right down to the hygiene products! I will definitely revisit this hotel!!

I arranged 7 rooms for myself and my group. Every single room exceeded our expectations as each room included a small kitchenette with many essential tools to make our stay extra comfortable. I asked for an earlier breakfast time for my group and that was provided with outstanding results. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant, specially the receptionist who spend time with me to tell me about all the close by sightseeing which added extra fun to our trip. We wished we could have stayed longer at Artina.

We really enjoyed our night stay out of high season. The whole feel of the place was peaceful, the perfect place to relax. Communication with Rena before and during our stay was great. The apartments are modern and exceptionally clean; we had a very comfortable stay. The best part was enjoying a drink in the evening sitting on the terrace in the restaurant below watching the stunning sunset.

The location is very tranquil, but also close to the vibrant city and beach life. The staff were very helpful and always welcoming with a big smile. Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.

We loved the accommodating beach sidewalk- wide and mostly flat. Cafes and tavernas along the beach in Stoupa made for pleasant beach lounging. Kayak and paddle board rentals were easy, affordable and such a treat for all ages!

Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

It is a bit of an odd place.

It is a bit of an odd place. The beaches are beautiful and picturesque, however there are no facilities on the beaches (no sunbeds, beachbars or even toilets). Any beaches with facilities are private to the exclusive Navarino Resort, and therefore you have no access. A lot of it is a nature conservation area, which is probably why its so beautiful, and walking around is lovely, but there isn't much else to do. The restaurants are very good, and a cut above those we encountered elsewhere in Greece - bit more expensive but definitely worth it. We were due to stay 5 days, but moved on after 3 as there just wasn't enough to do.

All the villas give you the privacy of having your own relaxing space near a very popular beach. Each villa has a garage for your car which allows the car to be protected and kept cool during the day. The villas are kept clean and serviced daily. Above all you have Konstantina which is your host and she is always willing to assist you with anything which you may require. There are many restaurants within a 5 km radius of the property. You are close to one of Greece's most famous beaches Voidokoilia and also Gialova which has many restaurants and bars. In summary the property is highly recommended for someone who would like to visit Messinia one of Greece's most beautiful areas.

The local Taverna along Artaki bay has excellent traditional food and the best view of the bay and Koroni. We loved to walk through the little streets and steps going up to the castle and monastry with lovely views over Koroni and Zaga beach the other side that you can walk to.

Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). I was after a bit of down-time out after a long cycle with several friends, so the quiet little rural seaside town suited me. The harbour is being structurally rebuilt so I couldn't get a boat out to Proti island which was a disappointment. There are a few good beaches along the generally rugged coastline and some lovely restaurants in town. The agricultural nature of area means that it is not consistently pristine and there is a fair amount of farmers' litter evident. It would be ideal to have had a car for more exploring.
