Everything. The comfy room, spotlessly clean, the huge bathroom with shower, bathtub, bidet and 2 sinks, the espresso machine with capsules and milk. The very friendly and welcoming staff. The wonderful spa area with the most strong jacuzzi I've ever tryed, the heated big pool, great massage and spa treatments. The Greek music party from the lobby bar. The lit big fireplaces and the huge comfy sofas from the lobby. One of the most diverse and tasty breakfast I ever had in a hotel.

The breakfast was great. Served in the restaurant. They had a nice buffet. The Hotel is situated on a hill overlooking Limeni so it's not in Areopoli which is a few minutes drive away, Limeni is really nice for dinners. Areopoli is nice for strolling and history. The hotel is stunning with an infinity pool and beautiful rooms. I almost didn't want to write this review because their prices are going to keep going up as they get busier. But they deserve it.

We loved the resort and the grounds which are steps away from the spectacular warm ocean. The food was exceptional, the breakfast plentiful, varied and truly something for everybody’s needs. I can’t say enough to describe adequately the service which was amazing. The hosts and hostesses were outstanding and so very friendly. The grounds, ocean and and variety of services was superb! We stayed in our own tower with the triple sea view room. Everything was excellent, from the view to the room and balcony. We would stay here again in an instant. We absolutely loved the buffet breakfast included and had dinner at the hotel restaurant twice. The women who work in the restaurant provided phenomenal service. This was a good base from which to see the entire deep Mani and we recommend it.

The apartments are modern and exceptionally clean; we had a very comfortable stay. The best part was enjoying a drink in the evening sitting on the terrace in the restaurant below watching the stunning sunset.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.

From here, you can use a bus to reach Kiato, Corinth and Athens very cheaply. It is a beautiful town with nice monuments and ancient traditions. Pleasant city, active nightlife, many shops and excellent cuisine. From the Gulf of Patra you enter the Peloponnese. It is the right place to start a trip to Greece if you arrive by ferry from Italy, either with your own vehicle or simply on foot.

Monemvasia is just a magical place to be. Take the time to explore it. Make sure you go up to the top of the rock, sunrise is the perfect time. And be sure to explore the town in the evening: there are fewer people around and it is very atmospheric. Food wise, Monemvasia is a bit limited for vegans, but we found places to eat.

Go when not so crowded or hot. We did well at end of September. I highly recommend if you have a car to do a free Olive Oil tour & tasting at OILYPIAN Koufolias Olive Oil Mill about 15 min away from town. I also loved OLYBEEA for family run local honey which you may sample before you buy! Have a meal up the hill (you can walk but best with car) at The Garden :) You will dine under olive trees & get a great view. Try to eat around sunset for a treat!

In addition, you could pamper yourself at Loutraki thermal spa. At the beach road, there are many different restaurants, taverns, cafeterias for every pocket.

I love Korinthos. For maybe idiosyncratic reasons.

I love Korinthos. For maybe idiosyncratic reasons. It is close to Athens, so if you fly in and rent a car for a long drive; this is a close stopover rest city for a couple of days if you don't want the chaos of driving into Athens from the airport with jetlag. I always do Athens on the way out, and Korinthos is always my first night. The nightlife is local and late-night. The beaches are local and easy, laid-back. It never feels touristy to me.

I rented a scooter.

I rented a scooter. Near the Orloff there is a very good bakery to buy a Tyropita to bring to the beaches in case one still wants a snack after the incredibly good breakfast. One of the most beautiful beaches is Agia Paraskevi. Other people go by bicycle or Elettric Bicycle, some walk, some jog. There are incredible places to discover. All choices for dining out according to your taste. I liked traditional Greek food at a tavern called Bouboulina, but I explored a lot.
