Excellent location within walking distance to main Fira market, albeit a small stressfull climb. Host was excellent & provided us all the infomation needed. Checked us in & gave all the instructions needed. The outdoor Hot Tub Jacuzzi was great & so was the steam room & we still miss it. Host was over courteous & even gave us a free breakfast on the last day. Breakfast was excellent & good qulaity & quantity. Rooms are well planned & secluded from each other offering good privacy. Housekeeping was good & clean. We still miss Cycladic suites & would like to visit again.

Everything! Irini and Andreias make our honeymoon more special. They contact us on WhatsApp and help with everything. The bedroom was clean and big. The bathroom also. Breakfast was delicious! We felt like at home and decided stay one more night!

We booked the sunrise suite but decided on the spot to upgrade for the sunset suite, which cost more but is totally worth it! The suites, view and pool are unbelievable! A property managed by an extremely attentive, very dedicated lady, always present to solve any problem, a capable lady, a beautiful person at heart and extremely welcoming! A lady with whom I want to keep in touch with her, a positive man with a wide smile, who charges you with a burst of energy! The accommodation was a dream, superlatively clean, coquettish, well-kept, furnished with taste, equipped with all the necessary utensils in the kitchen, some of them new. In addition, the lady constantly changes the towels, bed linen and cleanliness in the room! The exterior of the property is a fairy tale, pure white, blue gates and doors specific to the area, swimming pool, jacuzzi, which the lady takes care of constantly, being attentive to all the programmers and the compositions of the solutions that had to be added. The courtyard was always lit up at night with ambient lights that gave a romantic note! A very important point is the fact that you have a lot of peace, the property is secluded and far from the infernal noise of tourists at night, but it's worth the price! So I assure you that it is an accommodation that should not be avoided! Sincere thanks and many hugs from us!! (Flori, Vali and Flavius)😍

The hotel is beautifully designed, the finishes are all very contemporary yet bohemian chic. The hot tub and the spacious balcony was also a great place to spend time. The food is superb and the service is natural and genuine. I was very warmly welcomed by the team and they were very attentive. Thank you to Markella for the welcome and advice, the bar/ restaurant staff for the professional service and the chef for his fantastic food. The housekeeping team are all so friendly and prompt. Particular mention for Christina who kindly checked in with me every day, offering great advice and tips on the island. She helped me rent a car and organised a boat trip and my transfers for the airport. Divino Caldera is a very special hotel and I would highly recommend it for a break.

    It is very expensive to eat out, so you will need to shop around. If you stay away from the restaurants with a view, you can see a big difference in the prices if you go a street or two below for the same food. Bring runners with you as you will do alot of walking and the paths are not great so no heels. Beware of roads as they do not have the same rules (no rules) as your own country.

    Crowded with cruise ship visitors but only during mid-point of day. Once we figured out layout, easy to get around. Lots of stairs, so be prepared. All was welcoming. Especially all the tours and guides. Wine-tasting and catamaran tours great. E-bike was a bit more difficult than I anticipated - but probably more about my fitness level - not the tour. Tour guide really looked out for me. Santorini exceeded our expectations.

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes...

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.

    Lovely village but getting very busy.

    Lovely village but getting very busy. Restaurants were excellent and staff in them very polite and attentive. Greece is not cheap these days so you have to pay the same as in UK for meals etc. Wine is very expensive but nice to see that they only sell Greek wine in supermarkets and restaurants.

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me.

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me. Even at the end of the season, the main town of Fira was overcrowded with cruise ship visitors every day, and had some very high prices in the shops and restaurants. Firostefani is only a mile from Fira centre with good communications but is less crowded and (slightly) less expensive. There are plenty of restaurants in Firostefani, the two I liked best were Onar and Aktaion. Also there was a good, reasonably priced take-away called Why Not. Firostefani (and many areas of Santorini) has small mini-markets but no good supermarket. Anyone self-catering would find food shopping expensive and with limited choices. My hotel (Villa Ilias) like many others in Firostefani had spectacular views over the caldera.

    Fira is a great town full of varied shops and fantastic places to eat. It can be expensive so plan a little extra money for food though! There are plenty of things to do an see in the town and the public transport to other areas of the island are quite frequent and cheap. There are lots of steep inclines and stairs so keep that in mind, you'll be doing a lot of walking up hills

    Oia is stunning, especially at sunset, but in September it felt overrun with cruise ship crowds and influencers. We loved our simple apartment with its incredible views, starry nights, and the local cats and donkeys. Food and wine are excellent but expensive, and swimming isn’t easy without hiring a car or scooter. Beautiful to see once, but not ideal if you’re on a budget or want a relaxed swim-and-rest holiday.

    Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira.

    Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. We ate at the White Lounge and La Moustache which were both fantastic. Also easily accessible from the road without too many steps. Highly recommend!

    Akrotiri is a beautiful town.

    Akrotiri is a beautiful town. I definitely recommend visiting the Akrotiri archaeological site, but the entrance fee of 20 euros is honestly way too expensive. The White Beach and Red Beach are nice, but not really our thing because they’re overcrowded. We preferred finding some quieter beaches instead

    The small village streets were rustic and lined with friendly shop keepers. A relaxed and friendly inviting people. Hill top views are simply amazing and make fantastic photos. The only issue is when the cruise ships arrive. Streets become over run by time poor travellers, checking their watches and posing for pictures along the narrow pathways leading from the town back to our appartments. Once they have gone, the night becomes peaceful and relaxed again.
