The hotel is a five-minute walk away from the island port, on a quiet street, which was appreciated! It's a small, family-run hotel—a refurbished traditional mansion. Our suite had two floors, a balcony, a kitchenette, and a beautiful sea view. The staff were very kind and helpful—especially Christiana and Viki. They helped us choose and book restaurants for our dinners and beaches depending on the wind. Spetses has very nice restaurant options, but do not miss Taverna Lazaros! Nice beaches, nice vibes, beautiful buildings/architecture, nice strolls and walks, several cultural and historic references, nice restaurants, friendly people, perfect for a short getaway from Athens. Transportation is tricky though, the only working option is a scooter that needs to be booked much in advance.
