The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the checkin they give you information about Meteora and the best views around there. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of local and tasty products. Rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view was incredible, as shown in the pictures. We will definitely come back.

What an excellent place to choose for a short or a long stay in Pelion! We are very happy to have stayed there for a long weekend at the end of the summer. The hotel has been recently renovated, so, everything is new and of top quality. It is located under the shade of the beautiful huge trees in the village square. Waking up and being surrounded by these beautiful trees offered us great and positive energy! We booked and stayed in the family deluxe room which was spacious and it also had a large sofa and a studying desk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way in order to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mr Christos, thank you mrs Lili and all the rest of the staff. We were offered freshly made home made plum jam as a special treat! Whatever was offered in the breakfast area, it was of excellent quality. Their priority was to offer seasonal local fruits. We were lucky enough to be there and taste the first local apples of the season. Two different types of local homemade pies were on offer every day in the breakfast buffet. Lili prepared traditional loukoumades, which were served with the famous local honey of Pelion. Besides, coffee was included in the price, whereas, it is common practice to be charged extra for hot drinks at breakfast time, in other hotels imin Pelion. The atmosphere in this small traditional hotel is friendly and relaxing. The top quality bed linen and mattresses ensured that we slept very well. Also, the hotel has a centrally installed heating and cooling system. However, the trees in the square offered sufficient shade and coolness, therefore, we didn’t need to use the cooling system in August. We would love to visit this beautiful hotel in winter and experience staying there again. Once again, thank you for your hospitality!🙏

Only love for this hotel and its people! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt really pampered by the kind staff. Our room was bright, tastefully furnished and super clean. The breakfast was heavenly, the best local delicacies were freshly prepared and served every morning. The location was perfect, just a stone’s throw from Argalasti’s square and a short drive from the near beaches. The owners and the team definitely go the extra mile to make your stay remarkable.     We stayed three nights over the weekend at Hotel Caravia Lux with my husband and had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel is a gorgeous little boutique spot — cozy, stylish, and set in a stunning location, with just ten rooms all facing the sea, the mountains, and the beautiful pool. It really has that peaceful, luxury feel without being overdone. The new management are truly lovely — kind, professional, and very attentive — which made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Before our trip, we got in touch with the hotel to make a few special arrangements, and the communication was smooth, fast, and incredibly easy. Everything was handled perfectly, which really set the tone for the whole stay. Breakfast each morning was a delight — delicious homemade pies with that authentic Greek touch, fresh and full of flavour. The vibe around the hotel, especially by the pool, is super chill and relaxing — very adult-friendly, no kids running around, just pure calm. Dinner at the hotel was equally impressive — upscale yet warm, Greek cuisine with a refined twist that felt really special without being pretentious. We left feeling completely relaxed, very well looked after, and already talking about our next visit. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this lovely place to our friends and family.

    Very friendly staff helped us with a lot of information and requests, good and varied breakfast, although staying 7 days, the food is similar. Cleaning was done daily, towels changed. The hotel is located on a sloping street, very quiet, but close to the central area of the village which we were able to visit easily. The bar is very well stocked, and the desserts were very good. Opposite the hotel is a small restaurant that you must try

    I requested a quiet sea view room and that which I was allocated was just perfect; on the uppermost floor and away from any nighttime entertainment noise. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. The ambience in the dining room where breakfast is served is superb; calm and well-organised with wonderful sea views and the variety of food offered is great. the coffee is very good 👍🏼 Free parking is a real bonus.

    Better than we expected......various areas to visit, a busy promenade with many shops and restaurants, the port area with some lovely tavernas overlooking the sea, we liked the local beach Megali Ammos which was walkable from our hotel and had 3/4 lovely restaurants...our favourite was the Thessaloniki. Great bus service every 10 mins. Not too many families so ideal for couples or singles. Plenty of boat trip options, etc.

    A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.

    Staying in Larisa is like staying in Thessaloniki only the distances are all walkable and everywhere you go is safe! You will enjoy the BEST coffee in all Greece no doubt and the food options are many and will satisfy all needs! The shops are also top quality with normal prices and you will find a place to have a ether a quiete or a loud drink every night

    Skopelos town is beautiful as you would expect and you have everything you need a short stroll away. Supermarkets, bakeries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Amazing in the evening and very vibrant. Romantic dinners by the shore along with cool cocktail bars in the backstreets. Great vibe.

    This was a great city. A lot of bicycle traffic. People very friendly. A nice small hometown feel for 60,000 population town. Several great museums. A wonderful stroll along the river. A great place to people watch on the main Avenue. Check out the Ottoman and Byzantine ruins..

    Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.

    This is a spacious and well thought out property .

    This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.

    Alonnissos has great beaches, excellent food (traditional and modern), nice weather and a few folklore and antiquities (mainly on the Ottoman period, while some underwater archaeological sites are developing right now). It's good to have a car (and even better a 4X4), since most beaches are not in walking distance. Chora (the old village) is really pittoresque.

    The village may look small, but it has everything you need – supermarkets, souvenir shops, cozy restaurants and cafés, a bakery, a children’s playground, and a newly renovated church. From here, you can enjoy a walk along the promenade to Kato Gatzea or Koropi. A short 10-minute drive takes you up into the mountains to the beautiful villages of Vizitsa and Milies. In the other direction, you can visit the Voliotis family olive mill or head to Ano Lechonia to catch the little train for a picturesque ride through the mountains.
