The food was exceptionally good (try their seafood pasta & grilled fish, you wont regret it!), the boutique is beauuuutiful, the staff was very friendly & would go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. Most importantly the hospitality of Teo, Matteo (& his lovely wife) made our stay so special! You wont find a better host anywhere else. We definitely will be staying here again if we come back to Hvar!
Oh and we got a free upgrade to a bigger appartement on the top floor. The seaview from the balcony there is magical! Very appreciated ♡

United StatesAmazing location!! Right in the middle of Stari Grad. The harbor is right there, and shops and restaurants are at your doorstep. The apartment seemed to be recently renovated. It was very clean and had everything you needed to make some meals. The host was very nice and let us check in early, along with giving us some extra pillows. We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it.

The caretakers were very friendly and just wanted to make sure we had leverything we need. The pool and bbq were very nice to have. If tou stay here you will not be dissapointed. Very close to the waterfront with free parking available.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Each morning they would catch up with us and chat about our day. The breakfast was beyond superb. The photos online did not do this resort any justice. It was so much better than I expected. The location was perfect. Located right next door the luxurious HVAR Beach Club. Just a very short walk into Hvar Town and heaps of restaurants along the way as well as cute little swimming spots.
Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back one day. A very huge thank you to the wonderful staff !

Honestly I loved everything. I'm from Brazil so beautiful beaches are no news to me but Cast Away is just spectacular! I don't think a view can get any prettier.
I also loved the contact with the nature and the two dogs that were there, playing with them made our stay even better. The common areas were remarkably clean and we found everything we needed.
Didier, the host, is another highlight - since the reservation, he's been nothing but kind and informative.
I would love to return to this place!

The most incredible property we’ve ever stayed at. The location, the breakfast, the views, the staff. The team kindly upgraded our accommodations because we were on our honeymoon and truly made it an experience we will NEVER forget - once in a lifetime! Katia at the front desk is amazing. We spent 5 nights at Palace Elisabeth and we will be talking about it for the rest of our lives! Hope we can make it back someday.

Staff was absolutely amazing, they were caring, attencious and sincere. The hotel itself is a gem, its an older hotel but delivers a lot for its two stars. A lot of croatian families were there, atmosphere was very nice and cool. It is not a five star hotel or pretends to be it, but serves good food and lodgind for a fair price in a very nice location. So I have to reccomend it!

The location is perfect - the place is not crowded. The trees form a very nice shade for a pleasent stay and walk. The beach is great, and the sea is very calm and refreshing. The staff is very kind and helpful. The resort is so peaceful and quiet, that you immediately get relaxed and enjoy your vacation

Perfect location to watch all the boats coming in and out, right in the heart of Hvar. Lovely places to swim in the sea, hotel provide towels for swimming. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return .

Easy place to walk around (but must be prepared to climb) with interesting attractions. Friendly tourist info office and good brochures..Lovely front yard at the Franciscan Monastery and Church of Our Lady of Grace. Amazing agave lace by the Benedictine nuns.

Not for everyone.
Not for everyone. Don't go there if you like noise, night clubs, loud music and so, If you look for calm and silent place - it might be your golden target. We love that place - both from the sea side (as skipper) and land (as tourists). We will be there back again if only we can.

Beautiful quiet and friendly location. Well worth the extra effort to travel a bit further. Very unspoilt with lots of passing yachts calling in for overnight stops or longer. About a dozen or so places to eat, very friendly people. Pint of lager 3.5 euros. A lovely glass of local white wine 4 euros. Four coffees about 10 euros. Beautiful food, especially if you want fresh fish straight out the sea. 👌😎

Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this...
Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this place is long enough for me. Jelsa is a great resort that offers many great restaurants, authentic shops with local products, but especially a rich cultural program. The same applies to the neighboring village of Vrboska. I recommend renting a bicycle for the entire stay and getting to know the beauty of the island in this way - be it natural beaches, old streets or vineyards.

The accommodation is located right by the beach and the locality is quiet with not many tourists. There was everything we needed in the apartment. The terrace was very spacious and overlooked the sea with the beach.
There are wooden shutters to eliminate the sun and mosquito nets in every window. The apartment is very quiet at night due to the tight windows and shutters. The kitchen is well-equipped with a spacious dining table and a large sitting room. One of the bedrooms has a door leading to the terrace with a sea view, which was amazing.
We enjoyed sitting on the large terrace on comfortable sunbeds, which I think is the best part of the apartment.
The owners provided us with beach towels and beach mats.
There is a small bakery right behind the house with fresh pastry and bread, and a grocery store 500m far from the house. There is a lovely restaurant by the beach with nice food, and another one just a 15-minute walk from the apartment, Skalinada restaurant, with amazing views and a great menu of fish and seafood.

Nice place for families woth small children. Small village, mostly tourist houses. Nice beach, everything walking distance. Very quiet, only one restaurant, one shop (a bit to small, to get everything one would need) and few bars. I suggest you try the local vine, sold next to the supermarket. At the end of August the is a fishermen festival, where you can taste fish and other sea food.
ATTENTION: The road from Jelsa to Ivan Dolac is very narrow and curvy, some sections are a bit unpleasant. It didn't bother us, but if you are not used to drive on such roads, then it might be very stressful for you (you will need to take the road it least a few times, since there is only a small shop and one reastaurant in Ivan Dolac, for the rest you need to go to Jelsa or elsewhere). Furthermore, there is a narrow and low tunnel on the road, which is impossible to drive though with a van.

Sucuraj is a peaceful, charming town, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. The sea is very close, so you can reach the beach easily from almost anywhere. There are plenty of good restaurants serving local dishes. Another big advantage is its location right by the ferry, so you don’t need to drive across the entire island on narrow, winding roads.

Very few houses around.
Very few houses around. No amenities like grocery stores or supermarkets, you have to drive 45 mins. 2 places to choose from the eat otherwise you would need to drive 45mins/1hour away. But extremely peaceful and quiet and great place to unwind by the sea.

A lovely town, with so many nice people.
It’s very calm a tranquil compared to the city of Hvar. But you still have some restaurants to choose from, a local baker, an ice cream stand and a mini market.
The main beach is beautiful and you even have several other beaches in walking distance.

Idyllic, a bit remote. Not too many people there even in the main season, beautiful beaches! Has a bakery (open 7-10 am) and someone who sells local products next to it, next mini market is in Ivan Dolac. Also a great starting location for hiking or biking up to Sveti Nikola (there even is a nice via ferrata and a place for climbing). On gravel roads aside of the main rodes I'd recommend a SUV or a mountainbike!
