- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 129 reviewsStaff was absolutely amazing, they were caring, attencious and sincere. The hotel itself is a gem, its an older hotel but delivers a lot for its two stars. A lot of croatian families were there, atmosphere was very nice and cool. It is not a five star hotel or pretends to be it, but serves good food and lodgind for a fair price in a very nice location. So I have to reccomend it!Guest review byJuliana_CastroBrazil
- From $113.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,006 reviewsThe resort is a great base location for exploring the island. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever encountered on our trips around Europe. We booked park view and actually got a park, pool and the see view from our balcony. There was a nice beach in front of the hotel with clear seewater and free use of beach chairs. We liked everything and will for sure return someday.Guest review byŽelimirCroatia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 662 reviewsVery cozy hotel. The rest on the island is much more relaxed than on continent. I had read many comments about the food and was expecting to be disappointed, but it wasn’t bad at all. Yes, it is a bit modest, especially snacks, but while you won’t find delicacies, there was a variety, including fish and even stewed calamari one evening.Guest review byIgorHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 555 reviewsThe location is amazing — it’s truly the first property from Zlatni Rat Beach. The room was extremely clean, with daily cleaning service (big thanks to the cleaning staff). The hotel has also been recently renovated. The service was excellent, and all of the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great, especially by European standards.Guest review byHalilGermany

This was the perfect Adriatic vacation.
This was the perfect Adriatic vacation. Best mix of historical sites, sea-side exursions, excellent restaurants, and time to relax as well. Be prepared to walk a lot and have proper footware for walking on the rocky beaches.Guest review byHNildiHungary - 10.0

We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants, great walks and beaches and it had a friendly, laid-back vibe with people of all ages. Zlatni Rat beach was lovely and when we were there it wasn't overly busy and although clearly set up for tourists they seem to have kept the balance just about right (although the sun beds and shades are ridiculously expensive at 39 euros per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), needless to say we didn't bother. The walk along the promenade to Zlatni Rat was gorgeous with lots to interest from interesting villas, bars, tourist gift stalls, sculptures and the tree cover made it shady and attractive. Equally the walk into town and the harbour and then further along to the monastery was also interesting and always something different to see. Food and drink is not cheap sadly but most of the meals we had were really good quality - for a special meal try Boket 78, our most expensive meal but the flavours were amazing. I had the lamb and it was one of the best meals I've ever had, hubby had the black risotto and he said it was full of flavour too. Also the vegan restaurant Biomania was lovely. We loved Bol and would happily visit again.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
First trip to Croatia, and glad we chose Hvar Island.
First trip to Croatia, and glad we chose Hvar Island. Stayed walking distance outside Stari Grad, picked location as quieter than Hvar town. In hind sight would stay first few days in Stari Grad and finish stay in Hvar town to be closer to port. Both Stari Grad and Hvar town have beautiful architecture and well worth a trip in the shoulder monthsGuest review bySandraJersey - 8.0

Supetar was great for a relaxing coffee and ice cream by the harbour and has useful supermarkets for a self-catering holiday. Along the coast there are several small coves and pebbly beaches for swimming. The traffic queues that build up before some of the car ferry departures need to be planned around, as it can be annoying to get caught in them if you are not waiting for the ferry.Guest review byLisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.Guest review byInêsPortugal - 10.0

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an incredible villa a couple blocks from water and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful, quaint, and relaxing environments we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the charm of the location—it felt like a true escape from the everyday. A true hidden gem that I almost didn't want to write a review about so I can keep it to my self! Favorite pizza was at Hotel Lipa and our favorite meal was at Dvor. You don't need a car here, super easy to walk, hike, bike or taxi around.Guest review byRachelUnited States - 10.0

Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this place is long enough for me. Jelsa is a great resort that offers many great restaurants, authentic shops with local products, but especially a rich cultural program. The same applies to the neighboring village of Vrboska. I recommend renting a bicycle for the entire stay and getting to know the beauty of the island in this way - be it natural beaches, old streets or vineyards.Guest review byDenis - 10.0
Beautiful quiet and friendly location.
Beautiful quiet and friendly location. Well worth the extra effort to travel a bit further. Very unspoilt with lots of passing yachts calling in for overnight stops or longer. About a dozen or so places to eat, very friendly people. Pint of lager 3.5 euros. A lovely glass of local white wine 4 euros. Four coffees about 10 euros. Beautiful food, especially if you want fresh fish straight out the sea. 👌😎Guest review byPetaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely little fisherman village.
Lovely little fisherman village. Beautiful nature, pebble beaches, lots of cats and dogs all around, simple life and very relaxing place (in May). Cute old buildings and narrow streets. Good food in restaurants and at the market place.Guest review byLiisaFinland - 10.0

It’s so pretty. A lovely change from crowded split. We have visited a few islands and this one is my favorite so far. Milna is pretty with everything you need within walking distance. We went to Bago restaurant which was about a 15 minute walk away which was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byEmilyUnited Kingdom
