- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 667 reviewsBeautiful place - definitely worth visiting! Situated on a coast, next to a quiet beautiful bay, in the middle of forest. Small cottages/houses, lot of green, not overcrowded. 3 outdoor pools (1 for toddlers) with plenty of sunbeds (which is often an issue in hotels). There was a bit less variety of food to choose from during meals, but everything was very tasty (which does not always happen) and pretty varied day to day. There were plenty additional amenities free of charge - mini golf, kayaks, sups, inflatable playground in the sea. The hotel service was super helpful as well - we had a couple of inquires that were resolved very quickly.Guest review byMaciejPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 600 reviewsFirstly, I would like to mention that the staff was very polite and friendly. Secondly, the location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by numerous bigger and smaller sea beaches. The distance to the centre of the town is just a short distance. You get what you pay for. This is marked as 3 star hotel and really it is not more. But the room and the food was good quality. The hotel has lots of potential, so hopefully they will invest in basic renovation soon as we would love to come back soon!Guest review bySigitaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 359 reviewsThe room was great, with beautiful sea views, and just few steps to the beach. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of meals to choose from. All the staff were very welcoming and always ready to assist. The location is in a quiet area, with central Supetar reachable in 15-20 mins walk for an enjoyable evening meal. During the day, there are bar and restaurant facilities within the Labranda Velaris Resort, and there is a small supermarket nearby.Guest review byGoranAustralia

Sunbeds in the pool area is great. Service from the hotel is also awesome. They have few events in the afternoon, evening for kids. This hotel is really great for families. So many fun events for kids. There is child minding service as well for kids in the hotel. Gym is clean and new equipments. Rooms are obviously amazing.Guest review bysshauryaIreland

We ended a cruise in Split. It's definitely worth seeing.
We ended a cruise in Split. It's definitely worth seeing. Book a walking tour and a golf cart tour... you'll see totally different things. Two days exploring town is plenty, but it would have been fun to take a couple of excursions to other island attractions that our cruise didn't cover. We were there the first week of October, so it was sunny during the day and chilly in the evening, very nice. Also much less crowded (though still bustling) than in the summer months. I can't say that we had a great meal, other than pizza at Bokamorra, which had a nice vibe and some of the best pizza ever (get the truffle and mushroom). Stay at the Hotel Ambasador for a luxury experience and spectacular views of the entire city and harbor. Friends stayed at one of the hotels in the palace and, while quaint, it was more like a place we'd have stayed at in our college years. Don't worry about eating gelato at least once a day - you'll walk off the calories!Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0
Trogir is a small town which can be seen very quickly.
Trogir is a small town which can be seen very quickly. Its ancient and narrow streets are filled with cafes and shops. Very charming and fun to visit. Cobblestone streets and is very lively at night. Huge yachts are docked along the main Riva.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States - 10.0
This was the perfect Adriatic vacation.
This was the perfect Adriatic vacation. Best mix of historical sites, sea-side exursions, excellent restaurants, and time to relax as well. Be prepared to walk a lot and have proper footware for walking on the rocky beaches.Guest review byHNildiHungary - 10.0

Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot. It has a beautiful old town and is supplied with some great eating places. I would recommend Gastro Diva for a local eating experience. The beaches are good and there are some lovely walks around the peninsula.Guest review byJaneCroatia - 10.0

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.Guest review byMADDOGUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of...
We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants, great walks and beaches and it had a friendly, laid-back vibe with people of all ages. Zlatni Rat beach was lovely and when we were there it wasn't overly busy and although clearly set up for tourists they seem to have kept the balance just about right (although the sun beds and shades are ridiculously expensive at 39 euros per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), needless to say we didn't bother. The walk along the promenade to Zlatni Rat was gorgeous with lots to interest from interesting villas, bars, tourist gift stalls, sculptures and the tree cover made it shady and attractive. Equally the walk into town and the harbour and then further along to the monastery was also interesting and always something different to see. Food and drink is not cheap sadly but most of the meals we had were really good quality - for a special meal try Boket 78, our most expensive meal but the flavours were amazing. I had the lamb and it was one of the best meals I've ever had, hubby had the black risotto and he said it was full of flavour too. Also the vegan restaurant Biomania was lovely. We loved Bol and would happily visit again.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This was the most scenic town of our trip around Croatia.
This was the most scenic town of our trip around Croatia. The beautiful gorge with turquoise blue water was a stunning scene. And the city lite up at night was beautiful. This town was a photographer's dream.Guest review byWally StenderCanada - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany - 8.0
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination.
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination. Croatian government removed the tool boot fee from the Saint Ilija tunnel and travelers can shorten their travel into the mountains and back significantly and save some money. You have different restaurants so you can pick what you like the most. It is easy to navigate around Tucepi and visit other spots. Sport activities are heavily affected by heat but you always have the swimming and other activities, like boating, parachute gliding and such. You can always buy fresh fruit from the locals that stop right at the beach.Guest review byAnonymous
