Kelapa Retreat and Spa is a true haven. We chose Kelapa Retreat for the last few days of our stay in Bali and our wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice. We felt that they took care of us very well, and our vacation was perfect. Definitely exceeded our expectations. The resort is perfect for a relaxing and quiet vacation, far from stress and hustle. The hotel is about 2 hours from Ubud and 3 hours from the airport. It is not located in any of the busy and loud cities, which definitely makes the trip there worthwhile. From the common spaces to the villas, everything is perfect and well-maintained. The common spaces are vast, and even though the hotel is fully occupied, it remains uncrowded. Practically, you can feel like you are alone. The pools are huge and have a direct view of the ocean. All hotel areas are always decorated and regularly cleaned. Additionally, there is a good internet connection in every of the hotel premises. There is also great security, so the place is definitely safe. Although the nearby village also looks very nice and people are friendly, a bit of security is always welcome. The rooms are also huge and impeccably clean. Also, they are designed with taste and provide a high level of comfort. We stayed in an Ocean Villa, and it was amazing. The patio provides seclusion and comfort. The service as a whole is just perfect. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The food is amazing, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. Indonesian, Italian, and international dishes are available for lunch and dinner. All of them are in huge portions and really delicious. Last but not least, the beach. It is a perfect fine sand beach that has a gentle slope and doesn't get deep quickly. Also, there are no rocks. I highly recommend Kelapa Retreat and Spa for those seeking a relaxing beach vacation. Regarding the comments about prices, yes, it's not budget-friendly, but it's totally worth it.

Everything was excellent. The on-site service team, was very helpful and friendly, making the experience that much more enjoyable. The restaurant is great with very good food. The pools were just right, yoga rooms are beautifully positioned overlooking the sea, the gardens are wonderfully clean and green, overlooking the beach & sea, with a sufficient number of garden chaises longues so there was always a space. Room location/privacy was important to us, we weren't keen on the position of the 2nd row of of bungalows, as we felt they did not provide enough privacy, (the first row of bungalows have much better privacy - none available when we arrived) so we switched to a room on the first floor of the main building which ended up being perfect. The location is fairly remote, the surrounding areas is very local. We rented a scooter and rode thru the adjacent rice fields, and mountains visiting the highland villages, this was a very nice experience. Overall, wonderful experience, we said to ourselves, one day we'd come back.

This place is fantastic super friendly people who will go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was great with lots of choices and available till 5 pm. Dinner is fantastic with local and International dishes. Restaurant staff under supervision from Mr Pande are super friendly,polite and helpful. For us there was no need to go anywhere else to eat. The rooms are great the grounds are immaculate with a good size pool with a kiddie section. Refrigerator in the room get complimentary restocked every day and there are complimentary toiletries. Tv has Netflix,Amazon Prime, HBO, Youtube and different Englisch channels. Night security with a 24 hours front desk. Paid airport service which you can book as well for day trips. There is a extensive library with books in different languages.

Excellent location by the beach, kind and attentive staff, and comfortable room with a nice bathroom. A/c worked great, bathroom had hot water, and the breakfast was nice. Agus was also a great surf guide and their boards for rent were great. Highly recommend!

Just as nice as in the pictures! Amazing staff and very well loved resort. If you're there to surf you'll need to rent a bike. Super recommend! :-)
