- From US$184.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 921 reviewsWe were just overwhelmed by this place. We got a cozy double room on the first floor with a big balcony. The very inviting Lodge-Style of this hotel made us want to stay forever. Its a small, hidden paradise surrounded by breathtaking nature. The room was super clean and very well designed, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was accesible from a beautiful inner courtyard. The balcony had a nice view into the forrest and the mountains behind. A great, high quality breakfast was included with a lots of different stuff to choose from. Over all, one of the best experiences we had so far. The only downside: Even though the restaurant is high quality and serves delicious meals, there is almost nothing else around, so you are kind of depending on them and what they offer. Since its a "higher class" restaurant, you have to take at least two courses, priced from 39€ upwards. There is no simple menu with regular meals to choose - two people pay at least 90€ per evening with no other option. Still, the meals were amazing and of good quality. Over all, it was the most enjoyable stay on our journey so far. We are already looking forward to our next visit!Guest review byPatrickGermany
- From US$324.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 192 reviewsIn all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.Guest review byVivianUnited Kingdom
- From US$185.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,167 reviewsA true Irish welcome is given to you at this hotel. From the minute we checked in till we left we received absolutely wonderful service. Everyone was so helpful and the food and the room was lovely. The breakfast was a perfect continental spread which exceeded our expectations. I must mention James Joyce the barman who makes the best cosmopolitan cocktail in Ireland. He was such a lovely person and so helpful. A definite must stay if you are in Clifden.Guest review byEileenUnited Kingdom
- From US$322.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 190 reviewsWe particularly liked the dining room and the view. We own the Fastnet Hotel in Schull in West Cork (Instagram thefastnet1) and we are very honoured to having been ranked number one in Ireland by the Irish Examiners Travel editor’s choice: Tom Breathnach's top 10 stays of 2023. We have sent several of our guests to Screebe House and they have not been disappointed.Guest review byEdwardUnited Kingdom

We should have more of this type of hotel, traditional but very confortable. You have a nice restaurant and pub in the hotel with live music sometimes. The breakfast was delicious, a lot of handmade food. Highly recommend and cant wait to come back.Guest review byBelindaFrance

Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. If not so far away, would definielty visit again!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Really good value.
Really good value. Great location for exploring beautiful area. The dorm is really low priced but clean and comfy with room to store possessions. Kitchen rather under-equipped especially in terms of saucepan provision.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It is a beautiful village on what feels like the edge of the world, surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful nature colours in a perfect setting. Perfect for group, family or solo trips. Great variety of pubs and eating choices in Roundstone village itself. I will be back for another visit and I will recommend to my friends too. Its a long drive over from Dublin but 100% worth itGuest review byAdrienneIreland - 10.0

Renvyle is a really nice place to stay, with space to take time on-premises, but also in the heart of Connemara from which to explore the beaches, towns and countryside. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provides good food in both the pub and restaurant.Guest review byRayIreland - 10.0
