I loved going into these stores: Forget Me Not and Distinctly Donegal. I enjoyed my conversation with the owner/creator of the beautiful silver jewelry at Distinctly Donegal. The view is not great from the rooms but very centrally located Uber charged us 20euro return into the centre maybe if we asked the hotel reception a local can may have been cheaper as it was only a few minutes walk but we had mobility issuesGuest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives...
Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives during the summer. You could meet anyone from anywhere here. But most importantly all are made to feel so welcome by the general community not just the hoteliers and gift shop owners. I accidentally left my rear passenger door actually open all night outside the Bank House and not a thing was touched!!! This coming from someone who has been a victim of a locked car theft in my own driveway in Loughlinstown Co Dublin….Guest review byRuthIreland - 8.0

Nice town, friendly people, some great traditional town centre pubs, although some of which don't sell food, Swan park and the river walk are beautiful and interesting, even in the rain, nice coastal footpath heading north out of town, with small and quiet sandy coves.Guest review bymichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more livelyGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0
We heard Ardara was a good base to travel around Donegal.
We heard Ardara was a good base to travel around Donegal. Our first night we went to the local pub and ended up staying longer than planned. Live music and got chatting to some lovely local people. It’s a fairly small town. We self-catered so can’t comment on places to eat.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The spa was the best.
The spa was the best. Booking treatments before hand is needed but the facial was amazing as were the massages. The food was lovely in the hotel restaurant, we were not disappointed. When wanting to try something new we walked 5min to Nancys Barn for even more gorgeous food. Beach was in walking distance with a lovely view and nice walking path.Guest review byMollyIreland - 6.0

We might have done a better job at researching what boat or land tours would be available. We had hoped to take a boa trip under Slieve Liege cliffas and maybe a day tour to Gleneveagh National Park or Inishowen. There was a small tourist info building, but it did not open until Monday. The helpful man behind the counter seemed to indicate that once the last cruise ship visit of the season was gone, things quieted down quite a bit. It was rainy and windy most of the time. We did take a local link bus out to Glencolumbkill; weather was damp and windy, but we enjoyed the ride and had a nice lunch at a cafe, and got some business done at the post office. So the stay was a little disappointing, but, as I said, we might have done a little more research before we went. We did meet some great locals waiting for the bus, etc. and had some great chats. Our first 8 days in Ireland, travelling with family who could only stay 7 nights was a smashing success!! We have all visited Ireland several times, at least.Guest review byCharlotteUnited States - 6.0
The hotel was lovely & we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was lovely & we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We had food in the hotel every evening of which there was a good choice available. Music in the bar on the Friday night was brilliant. Not much to do in Ballybofey, a lot of places closed.Guest review byAnonymous
