The room was spacious! The bed was so comfortable! The garden off the room was such a lovely touch, and added such serenity to the space! The location was perfect! The bathroom (although small) was neat and the water pressure was great!

FAQs about hotels in Goa

Hidden Gem on the West Coast of India

Located along India's west coast and overlooking the Arabian Sea is Goa. With its rich history and a mix of Indian and Portuguese culture, Goa is a hidden gem filled with culture, vast protected forest areas and gorgeous beaches.

There are many charming and characteristic villages scattered across the entire region. Varca, Calangute and Candolim have numerous restaurants and bars, and are home to some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts in Goa. Top that off with the picture-perfect beaches of Blue Whale and Agonda Beach, Goa is a perfect destination for travelers seeking relaxation, culture, history, and exotic seafood and vegetarian cuisine.   On the banks of the River Sal lies the historical and cultural city of Margao, offering sights such as Anna Fonte, Damodar Temple, and the Municipal Garden. Walk through the streets whilst taking in the infusion of fresh seafood, local specialty curry dishes, and spices wafting from the popular fish market.

Tourists, pilgrims and locals residing in other states flock to Goa to celebrate festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi and Carnival. The distinctive 16th-century Catholic churches, Hindu shrines, Baga Night Market, and Anjuna Flea Market are also popular places to visit. Enjoy local cuisine and then buy a bargain!

There is only 1 airport in Goa, the Dabolim International Airport which is located in Vasco da Gama. Booking.com offers a variety of accommodation options throughout the entire region.

Calangute/Baga was very vibrant, it's busy but it has a great vibe, the bars along the beach are great and a must see place in the evening. I visited a number of cities during my trip in India and Goa is a city you must see!

Buzzing place for party goers. amazing shacks offering good food and live music. My favourite was Fisherman's Cove. Pretty close to the party circle like Baga and other beaches. Very close to Tito's lane the most happening sport approx 3-4 kms away. Best way to commute would be to take a bike. But beware if you are drinking and driving. No tuk tuks etc. The city thrives only on Taxis which are pretty costly. you can shop amazing dresses, party wears in the 10x10 shops across the road. Please do buy coasters and hot plates without fail.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

Panaji was a nice stopover for 3 nights before hitting the beaches. Very relaxed city and easy to get around whether by taxi or by foot. Interesting buildings showing Portuguese influence, and interesting places to visit including the fish market, park along the river and local markets.

Morjim beach is one of the cleanest and relaxed beaches in Goa. Also, it has good shacks where you can enjoy food and chill. If you like quiet beach walks without lot of noise and chaos, it's best to stay here. Morjim is surrounded by greenery.

Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing.

Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. It's a peaceful retreat with a serene beachfront location, perfect for anyone looking to get away from noise and the digital world. The home-style food was delicious, and the setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are huge. A key thing to note is that the road to the hotel is very narrow and can be difficult to drive on in the evening. We highly recommend planning your travel to arrive in daylight.
