- From $309.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,173 reviewsI loved this hotels location, walked to the center downtown within 5 mins. I ended up with a corner room on 7th floor, so was able to look out over the Harpa Concert Center and the bay, it was beautiful. The bed was probably the best one on my week long trip and was finally able to have a good nights rest. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and so friendly. The Sky Bar and Restaurant on the top floor had an amazing view, the breakfast was included in my room rental and omg well worth it!!Guest review byStephanieGermany

Iceland is an expensive place to eat and drink.
Iceland is an expensive place to eat and drink. We had breakfast included in our room rate each day so saved quite a few dollars. We had a rental car, the hotel had no parking. We soon worked out where to park the car near the hotel overnight for free. Parking is strictly enforced in Iceland. We used supermarkets to buy or make our lunches and dinners where we spent out in restaurants (not cheap). The cheapest place to eat is Ikea - you need a car to get there unless public transport by bus can be worked out. Snorkelling between the tectonic plates was the best. Hot pools in Laugarvatn Fontana Geothermal Baths was excellent and not expensive (take a towel from the hotel). Blue Lagoon is over rated and too expensive.Guest review byMark from NZNew Zealand - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.Guest review bysandraUnited States - 10.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 8.0
People are very relaxed, helpfull and very pleasent.
People are very relaxed, helpfull and very pleasent. The city is not large, can be walked accross. We had not much time for excursions, 'couse it was a business trip, we tried to see the aurora, but no luck )-:. Also visited the Blue Lagoon, nice experience. In all, it is a nice place to visit, but too expensive for my taste.Guest review byAnonymousSerbia - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
