- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 1,164 reviewsWe stayed there for one night on our way from Bari to Sicily. The hotel rooms are placed in a corridor building forming an arc. The pool was really nice, and the water was warm. A lot of outdoor space. There is a football pitch, tennis court, night show for the kids, animators (both kids and adults)… The hotel is about 2 km from the beach, but there is a bus to and from the beach. We had bed and breakfast but opted to pay for the buffet dinner. It was amazing. The pasta was excellent. Breakfast was very nice as well. The staff was very pleasant. Friendly and doing their best to cooperate.Guest review byNenadNorth Macedonia

Matera is a breathtaking city carved into ancient stone — a place where history, art, and raw beauty meet. Walking through its cave dwellings and sunlit alleys feels like stepping into another time. It’s a must-see for anyone who loves authenticity, stunning views, and unforgettable atmosphere.Guest review byFrancesca RomanaUnited States - 10.0

We had the most amazing meal at La Torre restaurant, Giuseppe is an amazing chef. His wife is an amazing host. Our food was of a very high standard and very well presented. I had a glass of red wine that was from the area. I so regret not taking a box home. Absolutely, love our stay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Will go back for sure.Guest review byAdele RodoSouth Africa - 8.0

I liked the old city center area, all the restaurants and shops just a short walk on mostly level ground. It seemed very safe! I would have liked to see the museum but it was a little too far and down a steep hill for a troublesome knee. A little knowledge of Italian and a translation app was helpful. The people would work with you and overall we’re very kind.Guest review bySuzanneUnited States - 10.0

We loved the town and we loved the apartment the hot tub was wonderful. My husband enjoyed the sauna and the Scottish shower. The shower in the bathroom was great and like artwork. The bed was very comfortable and the hostess and coworkers were great. The breakfast was great. The parking took a bit to figure out and you will do some up hill hiking to get around but so worth it the town is like a fairytale. Wish we had more time to stay and do some hiking and guided tours.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Beautiful hilltop town.
Beautiful hilltop town. Amazing castle at the top with a museum of Roman artefacts, well worth a visit - incredible finds and not busy. Not for the faint hearted big hills to everything! Worth it though.Guest review byMirandaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Marinagri offers very unique vibe.
Marinagri offers very unique vibe. It is peaceful and very tranquil, you will feel welcome and safe. Policoro is a small city. However it is very cute and people are kind, the weather is great in September. The reason I decided to travel to Marinaagri is sailing in the Ionian Sea. My sailing experience was sensational and I am happy I discovered new destination for my new sailing journeys. The food is amazing I did visited Nemo restaurant, this is very unique place with amazing food choices an first you may think it is a fast food place but I’d you go to Policoro you must try it it is amazing. Seafood is fresh and local and very tasty.Guest review bymariana - 10.0

The diffuso concept is atypical so be ready for the room, breakfast, check-in, gym to all be in different places in the city. Each of these areas we used was wonderful, But our room was a bit of a walk from the check-in area. It happened to be that the walk was worth the location of our room. The room was large and clean and we had full control of heat and air. Everything very, very comfortable and clean and new.Guest review byTimothyUnited States - 10.0
Matara is not to be missed.
Matara is not to be missed. The history is fascinating and dates back to centuries BC. If you enjoy challenging hiking, that's available too! This would not be the best town to explore for someone with chronic pain or disabilities given the many stairs and levels of walking required.Guest review byThomasUnited States - 10.0

Loved going up to Christ the Redeemer it was a fantastic view of the area.Worth the zigzag drive up . We went into the village and down by the boat harbour for dinner . Had the best ever dessert at 1999 ll Ristorante. The food there was amazing . Loved the beach ,the water felt warm , great for swimming. The only thing we found difficult was parking . It’s easy to find your way around but parking is difficult.Guest review byJacqui FallowNew Zealand - 10.0
An interesting city for a short visit.
An interesting city for a short visit. A nice Archeological museum (general tours are in Italian exclusively). The city is rich in its theatre but unfortunately, we came out of a season. The historic city centre is situated on the top of a high natural hill; verticals in the city are striking. Therefore, free public elevators are quite ordinary means of transportation.Guest review byMaxim4ikIsrael
